      Most of this is fictional and based, like Law & Order on "stories ripped from the headlines." This is based on Elizabeth Holmes (Theranos).

      @@aussielady7539 I feel you loud & clear this show is a time stealer, they give a slow acct of events & go to commercial then at each time they go back they repeat the same stuff, then throw some stupid confusing senerio & leave you hanging again to another commercial. They do this throughtout just dragging you on & like you said noone is caught most of the time. Love the them but this is like no other crime show on stringing you along & nothing. I can't watch no more..to frustrating.

      The murderers break them. IN this case Derald (what kind of name is that) said Pablo paid someone to break the camera in his room but he wasn't smart enough to know all the cameras on the balconies below his would catch her body falling.

    I think it’s a good idea for a women traveling alone to keep in contact with a family member or close friend, regularly! Just as a safety precaution- check in with someone in case someone commits foul play. You could be gone ( killed or kidnapped) for days…and no one would know…until it’s too late.

      Better not to travel alone on a cruise trip and stay closer to anyone everyday and not to wander around by yourself 😢... I don't think I'd like to go on a cruise trip anymore

      @@angelapietras1235 I'll bet they told her that she's said she wanted to be left completely alone because she felt so sick and since she's been wearing the arm bands to try and prevent sickness it didn't seem a fishy story. :-( Over counter meds actually work really well for motion sickness though. I'm surprised how well they work.

      Yeah, she spent over 5 years writing software that didn't work. She could've still got rich and walked away but instead, suspecting she could get murdered, decided to leave herself vulnerable to getting murdered with the knowledge that the perpetrator MIGHT get caught because of a few notes in a safe. Real genius that girl 🤦 Yes she deserves to rest in eternal peace but the closest to phenomenal here was the police officer on the beach.

    I've binged this entire season on Amazon prime! I've only been on a cruise ship one and it was with trusted family members. I didn't have any issues but I would say be careful how u treat people on a cruise ship or anywhere that you can't escape from. People are crazy

    I've learned never to accept anybody's "invitation" to anywhere. I've dodged several hit jobs cuz of this suspicion. Also set up "counter ambushes" successfully, that started with such an "invitation"

    The older I get the more corruption, dishonesty and downright evil I discover in relation to money. It's terrible that Sandra's own lover contributed to her death!
    Much respect to her for trying to stay honest, and for knowing what was going to happen to her and making sure someone she could trust (her mother) would find out about everything.
    RIP for her brave soul.

      He may not have been if found a fraud. Hed hv to payback all his investors b/c it was a start up going into the IPO stage to make it open to public stock for everyone. Bankruptcy was gonna be his only way out & smeared his name as an investor.

    Odd. Normally these episodes stated the date(s) of the events. Anyone know what year this crime took place? I've read an article stating that names, details, and locations in this series have been changed, so most likely the real victim's name is not "Sandra".

      She wasn't innocent. The three of them decided to keep quiet about the app's malfunctions so the company could go public. That's securities fraud. But, when she grew a conscience her fellow fraudsters killed her. If someone had discovered the fraud before her death and informed law enforcement, she too would've been on her way to jail.

    This is the first episode where a crime is resolve in a Cruise ship, I was starting to think if you want to kill someone take them to a cruise... they will not be able to catch you. I also looked for the trial or any information about this murder but there is no one thing, also there is no info that match 'sandra' or the other characters... This program is starting to look very fake to me, because I have search for other ' cruise's crimes' . and nothing...

Captain Irvine was the only good one in this series which is probably why he's the only one named.     This story is pure fabrication. Someone decided to make a show about murders on cruise ships and then they realised there aren't enough real instances to fill a season so they make up the rest. This is why they say the names and dates have been changed. Might as well watch Columbo!

    Derald Smith, Pablo Linderman, and Sandra Hitchins, gives no internet results AT ALL about those 3 persons. Is this show for real or fake like that app? That should have been in all medias as a huge "big tech" backstabbing story, at least in San Francisco, but no, nothing on Google about this or those 3 names. What was the company name that was about to go public?? WHO KNOWS!!

      The whole Mexico angle is made up, the episode is loosely based on a real event but not that of the murder of the named victim, not by the named assailants, not connected with a tech company, not in the same decade... it's all fabricated. You'll find no record of any such events on line... they almost fooled me to

      Cruise lines delete their video footage after x amount of time and these stories are LOOSELY based on real crimes. It’s even stated in the beginning of each episode
