    Husband , 13 yr old daughter and I went on a cruise (1st and last time) Our ddaughter was stalked by some high school boys whose parents sent them on an UNSUPERVISED cruise who were throwing empty whiskey bottles at our door and calling every 10 minutes FOR HOURS to try to get our terrified daughter to come out!!!!!!???? NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

    Did she run around the room creating the major mess they discovered while having her seizure? Boy they sure have dumbed down policing these days... he had marks on his body... and who throws someone overboard because they had a seizure??? He's quite successful..obviously not an idiot... he didn't think they would ask... where's Abby? Oh she's dead so I thought I'd just throw her away into the ocean??? ridiculous... I'd say he forced himself on her...which is why she had a seizure in the moment of fear and trauma...thats why he felt guilt and fear his rape would be found and threw her overboard

    Ten minutes in after pausing to see another video that a bell popped up for I had to check the timer to see if the documentary had started again because it was literally repeating what was at the beginning.. I get that shows have to rehash the points to catch people up or join the dots together but completely repeating content multiple times seems so redundant and Ive noticed so many shows doing it lately especially when returning to a different point in the show is at the click of a button these days!
    I also want to say how much I have been enjoying these documentaries (besides any repetition of course!) and think its great that these tragedies are not being dismissed or forgotten - thank you for keeping their memories alive and highlighting the nefarious ongoings that have been occurring within maritime jurisdictions!

      These cruises aren't 'love boats' at all. They're lust boats. Every one of these episodes centered around lusts (alcohol, money, sex, fame, blood etc). I think I understand now why governments and law makers safeguard the cruise liners so much more than the wellbeing of travellers.

      Most of these videos are from 50 years ago. There is one made from a case that happened in 1908, even before WW1. I've worked in security on a dozen cruise ships (Princess Cruises) and we have more cameras than the cassinos in Vegas.
      Murders still do happen, yes. There are more than 30 million people that go on cruises every year. There is no way some of them aren't murders or rapists or pedophiles. These people always go to the beach, shopping malls, cinemas, resorts, etc. Its the state job to keep these people locked up. We can't check the background of millions of people.
      If you sum the numbers of deaths by 30 million, cruise ships are even safer than living in Japan.

    He claimed he had “ sex” w her is code for he punched her unconscious and sexually assaulted her is why she went into a seizure if that is even true somehow I believe that happened bc how else would he know she had seizures in the past? Bottom line he sexually assaulted her which is why he had scratches on his arm n lied that it was consensual. Maybe she should’ve thought twice about stringing him along in first place since they were on date and seen together vs flirting w a married man? Messy! That cruise was very messy!

      I don't believe she strung him along. From the friend saying Abbey text to say he could be the one debunks that idea. But later she met the one+ and I doubt knew he was married. It's all a little tragic. Including a woman willing to risk a man get accused of murder just to save her marriage, thankfully she was brave and fairly honourable. My question is though, if the film is a true representation, why would a man take a black hood and gloves on a cruise???

    • @trueCrimeGuruYes
      @trueCrimeGuruYes 3 роки тому +1

      Oh wow. I didn't think of that but you're definitely right. Her friend said she did have seizures but it was probably brought on by him r**** her since he'd raped other women. Let's not victim blame. We don't know she knew the other man was married. He probably lied. And also is she not allowed to date more than one guy if she hadn't entered into an exclusive relationship. Most men act like they don't want exclusive relationships at first anyway.
