I think that we all have different opinions on what a "Bond Brand" is. For me , I prefer brands that happen organically, like RGT, Naked and Famous, Barbour, Sperry, etc.... Plus, those brands are affordable for the average person. This would be a good topic for David Z to explore further, "What defines a Bond Brand"? Nice job with the vid Luke. Keep it up.
Great video, Luke! I've been lucky enough to get a few pieces from N Peal. I love the 'No Time to Die' sweater. Also, the five-button 'Living Daylights' polo is lovely to wear and is a really great 'invisible Bond moment'. One piece I purchased a few months back, separate from their 007 collection, was their cashmere safari shirt. It's amazing! I think of it as an unofficial homage to Roger Moore.
I always get my wife an N Peal “something “ for Christmas! They have quickly become her favorite! Now I must venture into the N Peal market myself… that jacket you’re wearing looks FANTASTIC by the way…
Interesting point regarding upscale wrong attire. The strange twist of fate is that the natural fibre and unassuming garments were the norm in Mr Moore and Connerys eras. You would ski in a wool turtle neck etc. Modern society has adopted synthetic materials for the masses which then makes the OG garments niche. I struggle with the modern synthetic clothes. They make me sweat like a man awaiting the death sentence. If im hiking my go to is cotton canvas work pants, a cotton tshirt and a merino midlayer. The boil-in-the-bag plastic rain coat stays in my backpack for only the most horrendous downpours. As ever, a brilliantly presented edition.
As always an enjoyable video. Mind you I had to force myself to stop counting every time you said - “Upscale” to get through to the end …. I think the advantage of N Peal is that whilst some of their cloth items are of course film correct a lot are that superb nod to a piece from a classic Bond movie. So Bond without visually cos play. In someways from previous videos similar to your clothing ethos of taking a Bond item like the Billy Reid jacket but buying it in grey rather than the blue/black colour from the movie. Anyway keep making the videos Luke and let’s Upscale your channel to new Upscale heights.
Great video! I have the charcoal Spectre sweater and the blue one from Skyfall. I also have a navy sweater that’s the real deal from a UK military contractor. It’s made of wool and is much more durable than cashmere for rougher wear (for me that’s the shooting range). Only thing is I wish I could get more wear out of them here in NC! 😂
Luke, great video. I do not own any N. Peal items due to living in AZ they wouldn’t get much wear. However, I’d have to concur. N. Peal hits most of the major markers for Bond fans. 🍸
Great video Luke! Unfortunately N. Peal is impossible to try on here in Australia but definitely on the wishlist. I personally am not a fan of the commando sweater, TAD do a great homage of the ‘wooly pully’ that’s a bit more historically accurate and more hard wearing.
How is your spectre cable roll neck holding up? I got mine about 1 year ago. I wore it a fair amount and unfortunately I have experienced some significant pealing. I also have the Richmond from npeal and it is holding up much better. (It also costs more than twice as much)
How about we discuss cost per wear? Its a shame no one (those who are friendly with NPeal) mentions the unfortunate side effect of pilling with natural cashmere. My spectre Turtleneck is in an awful state and is pilling despite only being worn a handful of times. These items wont last for ever, lets hope a couple of years at least.

Fun video and an interesting walk down the decisions of the brand and you!
Thanks David!
N. Peal definitely feels like it's the "Luke Taggart" brand (meaning you wear it well).
You’re too kind!

Yes I noticed that too 😂

Yeah the cold here in Wilmington doesn’t last long enough!!!
@@jodiah5 It absolutely doesn’t! Most of the time, I only get to wear the great sweaters if I take a mountain trip!

So far all of my items are holding up very well. How do you like the Richmond?
Your outfit is great, really suits you. Might have to steal the look
