How do you align the handle when you attach it? If it's surrounded with glue it can still move to a side or turn. Or do you cut grooves in the wood and fill only those with glue? The few times where I've made a hammer I just left a gap between steel and wood and filled that with glue - is that actually the right method or have I been doing it wrong?

seems to me that these hammers look a lot like the Hofi hammers by uri hofi. a shame that you take someone else's design and call it your own.
