Jason is the best. Great teacher and better friend. Can't wait foe Part two.
I can watch him work all day
Love the DL-44 tat!
We miss you here in ladson buddy. Hope to see you soon.
Holy shit bro! Your from forged in fire. You were my favourite judge. How come your not there anymore? You just gained a subscriber.
Jason hangs out with the Big Blu crew regularly and he was our favorite judge too. It's a shame he's not on anymore.
Why is he not on forged in fire anymore?
We can't speculate but we miss him too.
Is that an alec steele hammer!? Looks just like his. Great video! Thank you guys!
Nope. One of ours! ;)

"...make it smooth and them ruin it!" Welcome to my life
I like Jason Knight. But I once heard him say that he used to do stock removal than learned forging because to him that was a true blade smith. So than how does using a power hammer to rough shape a blade any different than cutting out the rough shape of a blade with an angle grinder or oxy-torch ?
BOM VIDEO DE FORJA
this is one of the only other Jason knights I know
Nice tutorial. Standing by for more.
One question: What did Jason mean when he mentioned not having an anvil set up properly?
Mostly, he was referencing how people have the corners dressed on their anvils and not have the right kinds of edges.
BigBluHammerMfg Cool. I can understand that. I use my various radii all the time.
is that alec steels hammer?
Where is the finished product?
"Yeah man"
What is the maker of your hand hammer??
That's one of our hammers.

That's what I thought Bailey.
Sounds a little like Steven Seagal!
This ain’t the Jason Knight I know!
It's just not like the pilkington...
...but if you paint your pilkington the right shade of blue, it will run better.
Hmm... Makes sense
Blue Dyekum
I am a 100% heterosexual man with a wife and 3 kids. But if he wanted, I would let Jason Knight have his way with me.
Idiot
+Zed Haley Nah man, he's a pretty good knife maker.
No, not him, the idiot bit was referenced to you mcdouche2. As for Jason Knight, he is a good knifemaker, also did a fair enough stint on Forged in Fire as a judge. Cheers.
+RichB it's called nuance and sarcasm. Things that your room temperature IQ obviously doesn't comprehend.
+RichB too bad. It sounds like this is winding down. I was having fun having my way with you. Work on understanding nuance and sarcasm. It will serve you well.
I thought the point behind making of blade is forging not using equipment, Talk about knucklehead I or see some real blade makers on UA-cam. For him not to sure what to say about him. For an individual that supposedly likes to build blades to me that's just the easier cheaper way... Just speaking my mind
Agreed. Not everyone has the money or space for a power hammer and if my anvil isn't set up right why isnt he telling me how to set it up? This series is just an advertisement for the hammer obviously and Im apparently a chump.
Did he say, If you wanna be a knucklehead and do it by hand and your anvil isnt set up right anyway? What a tool! Im out!
Kenny V bye..
Well obviously he wasn't talking about you.
So people that don't have the money or space for a power hammer are knuckleheads? I don't think I'll be back.
I wish I'd lived a life as sheltered as yours if being called a knucklehead offends you this much..
What a glorified toy
He might be a good smith, but his personality is pretty negative. I totally get the "keep low standards and you'll never be disappointed" thing, but if you're a TV personality that's not great without a goofball co-host. Developing a thick skin has drawbacks. It comes off as too cool for school. I'm totally guilty of it myself and I'm trying to change it.
That's a lot of shit talking. From someone calling themselves a master. I haven't met many American Smith's who passed their masters smithing program. Weird it's not offered in the states. But whatever
Maybe your ears are more sensitive than most. I only heard constructive instruction.
