There's a reason why. The Japanese fans (Light novel fans) hated that Horikita got all the spotlight, so they boycotted the anime. In the light novel, *** is the main heroine. The sales on BD was also busted out because of this. But if they decide to make it, they already have 2 seasons worth of source material each having 24 episodes each. That's how far the LN is compared to the anime.
I know you can't react to this but this is to everyone who's watched the anime. Read the Light novel. The anime ends at around volume 3. But I would reccommend starting from the beginning as some things are left out. If you think that ayanokouji is less cold and manipulative in the LN after watching the full anime. He's way more manipulative after volume 3 than he ever is in the anime. So continue past vol 3.
The teacher of the class was a fuckin Savage and I definitely wouldn't want to be scolded by her because something like that would vanquish a person instantly. 😁

The anime could've been better if they were more faithful to the source material, oh well, you can start reading from volume 4, just warning that Ayanokoji shows more emotion in the novel since it's all from his point of view(to the other characters he has the same robotic expression we see in the anime) he is also colder and more manipulative from volume 4 onwards since he starts to show more of his true self.
