Mannn I wish UA-camrs would do challanges that are actually challanges. Be doing whatnot with a big following. You be puttin shirts up that are some local marathon shirts and your following gets you the sale. When if you put that up on Ebay or Depop without a huge following that shit would never sell. Not that you don't find good shit but even then it gets over hyped and instant sold with your following.
All the thrift stores prices around me are TRIPPING! Guess you can only thrift in certain parts of the US for profit.

@@mikec3949 na in some areas there are only goodwills and Salvation Army which hold these things back. The bins here only put out stuff that didn’t sell so it’s no good usually. This is all within a 2 hour radius
@@copedigital That sucks but I pull stuff like he does in this video from the bins here. The racks not so much since yeah, GW especially pulls stuff to go online. Plus there's a lot of competition around here. Good luck I hope picking gets better for you
@Mike C the thrifts by me tax for stuff like that IF it even makes it out. "Vintage" and thrift boutiques are heavily saturated around me. And there aren't any bins unless you road trip a bit. Being a hobby for me, it's tough to get out and make time.
@@dieseledcten3243 Might have to make that bins trip every once in a while. There are a tons of racks around me (I'm in Pittsburgh) but it's rare to find a good tee or crewneck. I am surprised he finds so much good shit hanging in the racks

Are you going to calculate shipping costs for the items you sell as well?
You should tell people that in your case the road to 100k is like 10 times easier becuase you can get way higher prices and sell items way faster due to beeing popular ;) item that you sell for 50$ in one day others will sell for 20$ in a week :) love your videos btw ❤️
My only critique would be it’s not possible for anyone to start at zero and be able to sell on WhatNot. That being said I dig these series and Im excited to see what you find!!

Wow, Bins are so different. Ours won't even let you record, let alone host an online auction LOL. Things that are heavier are $5 each... so that Jacket and maybe Sweatshirt would have been $5 each. So that's something different also.
What's y'all cleaning process from the bins? Clean, post and ship? Or just sell as is uncleaned? I don't think my wife is going to let me continuously use the washer bringing home the bins clothes each day. 😅

Just try to be unique when it comes to thrifting. What inspired me to do it was the uniqueness within the uniqueness. When everyone starts only selling carhardt or a specific brand it’s literally no different than when a song you like gets over played on the internet. Beyond the intrinsic value of clothing is culture and when the goal only becomes about money you are no different than gentrification on a smaller scale. Just things to think about if you really wanna do this.

Can you include how much it costs to ship all those items to the people that won the items when you sold them on live stream. Do they pay the shipping or did you ? Obviously that’s something only a UA-camr with a big following could do too so be an impossible for the average joe to have that kinda start but still an interesting watch.
