🙋🏼♀️Hello, I just want to say thank you for making this video. I have been a sculptor for many years now but I always working with clay. I have also been decorating cakes for many years, but about 7 years ago I started using my clay sculpting experience and used it to mold fondant, modeling chocolate, and gum paste. The reason I say thank you is because I was self taught, but I wished I had all of the wonderful videos you make to help me learn. Although I am now an experience sculptor (after years learning and practice) I know that there is so much more to learn. I guess you could call me a lifetime learner🤭 So I truly appreciate all of your videos, so thank you. I look forward to see what you do next. I’d love to learn more about sculpted cakes if there is a video you could makes about that. Take care, Dee☺️
Thank you Maam..this is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen, easily can be understood with step by step guide of explaination good for a beginner like me...thank you for sharing your expertise..you are indeed a blessing to others..
Any tips how to deal with soft chocolate almost melty? I feel like the heat of my hands ruin the whole thing. I just pop it in the fridge to cool down, but in matter of time is just not working time consuming. I'm new to modeling chocolate so I'm not sure if maybe is the brand that I'm using that is not good. Is it normal to have that consitency? Or is it something else that i shoud be adding to it? Thank you for your video! 😊
My modelling chocolate seems to squash too easy, does it need to be more on the cooler side before starting? Its like it’s either rock hard or very soft x
Loved this! I have been modelling in everything from Sugar paste to paper clay, etc., and this is by far the calmest demo I've seen...Thank you. Where do I get the Eye Tool?? [always used my small finger nail....]
Hi Thanks for sharing your fantastic art with us.may i ask you to do me a favour,Unfortunately I can’t find that chisel ,would you please put the link if you have bought it online. Thanks 😊
I watched a previous Video on your channel showing the sculpting tools and the lady said to use the firm tools for molding chocolate, but I see you’re using the soft. Can it be used for both? She also said the soft is good for fondant. The tools are quite pricey for me right now, and I was wondering if I could get away with buying the soft for molding chocolate and fondant, so I don’t have to buy both sets?
I heard that if you’re heavy handed (like myself) get the soft one but if you’re gentle get the firmer. The soft one won’t do much damage no matter how heavy handed you’re
hello there, can you tell me if the modeling chocolate will stay pliable if for instance to want to wrap it around the bottom of my buttercream frosted cake - like little waves?
Hi Zena! To our knowledge, the TLook tools are not carried in the UK. But they were designed by, and are made and sold by Tissi Benvegna in Italy. Sugarworks is her North American collaborator. It might be cheaper and easier for you to get them directly from her if you're based in the UK. This is her site: www.latortachevuoitu.it/ Thanks for watching!
