Great roundup! I like them all! Good for you for trying several! I get nervous with pant making because my stomach sticks out pretty far 😩. Thanks for sharing!
I have S9376, but have not been brave enough to try it! Yours look very nice! I have been sticking with trousers with elasticated waists because they are easier to fit. I need to just do it! I love your idea of using fat quarters for the inseam pockets! I just found your channel and subscribed! Take care! ~Nancy
You are brave for focusing your sewing on pants. Focusing more on sewing pants was kind of my goal for this year, but I have been diverted to some other big house projects, and I haven’t sewn nearly as much. I hemmed a couple ready to wear pants and just made the Style Arc Bob pants. Keep up the good work! 😊
Thank you! 💕 I needed to start making things I could wear out of the house and I’m always working sooo… 😂 I’ve never tried style arc, I might look into that
Great makes, I really enjoyed your thorough reviews. I have the simplicity pattern and haven't got round to making it up, your versions are great. I'm tempted by those Butterick patterns too 😊
First time on your channel. So proud of you. You did such professional looking jobs. I am trying to get motivated again by immersing myself in sewing videos.
I think hook and eye closures are hard to line up, no matter how hard you try. Love all the makes. I'm writing down most of the pattern numbers you showed. Love them.
All of your looks are great: motivating me to move along and sew as I have the same patterns. We seem to have similar height and size measurements and, just a suggestion. I always have a problem with the center back being a bit short, and you may also have the same problem as you pull the back up too. If you put a half inch hinge dart across the center back seam in the area of the curve of your bottom, it will give you the extra you need in that area without changing anything else and the sides will match. Of course you can add more or none. I need 3/4 inch. I am 6 ft and 22-24: sometimes the pattern modifications are so time consuming, I just go back to elastic waist.
Thank you for the tips! I will give that a try. Eventually I want to learn how to adjust for my curves. The Palmer Pletsch pattern had a lot of tips inside the steps and that kind of motivated me to do more research. I’m glad you were inspired! 💕
@@Sewcially.Awkward I found I was getting confused with adjusting for the crotch curve and crotch depth. I took a pair of jeans that I liked the fit of, and copied the crotch from inseam to waist, including the yoke, to give me the correct shape and length I needed for pants. I traced it onto cardboard, front also, and use that against all the patterns and adjust them to suit that. Much more predictable. I also came across an article, comparing the crotch curv of the different patterns, and the consensus was that if you have some booty, McCalls and Burda work for you. I think it was an old Threads article on Pinterest. She was taking apart an old Armani pant and wanted to see their crotch curve and internal construction. I've cut those patterns out but havent done anything with them yet.
Wow thank you so much! I do have a pair of jeans that fit me really well. So I will be tracing those! And that’s interesting about McCalls and Burda. I’ve never sewn a Burda pattern but have sewn plenty McCalls. One of my TNT patterns for easy elastic pants is a McCalls pattern and those fit me pretty good. I would have never put that together lol
You are really getting some sewing done! I wish I felt as focused, but I feel so inspired by your garments!
Thank you! I was in a sewing slump for a bit but am now trying to pull myself out of it 💕

So many great makes! I have the 2nd and 3rd patterns shown, will be giving them a try too.
Thank you! 💕 You won’t be disappointed

Thank you! 💕 if you decide to make the pattern I would suggest using a stretch woven just to be on the safe side
Thank you for this awesome review!!!!
Thank you for watching! 💕
This was a nice round up
Thank you! 💕

Beautiful makes.

Thank you! 💕 I’m not the best at hand sewing. So as long as it functioned and didn’t fall off I was good! 😂
Proud of you! You're inspiring me to suck it up and try another design... I've only done the butterick B6966 view D
Thank you! 💕 and I’m glad you’re inspired! I hope you give it a try!
I have that Simplicity pattern and I love it, I'm on a pant kick as well..that last pair looks good, if you have fabric leftover..make some beltloops!
Thank you! I think I will because they are perfect otherwise. Thank you for watching! 💕
Repeat of pattern number again again for the Butterick,, your favorite
Thank you! I am leaning towards that idea
