Charlie Barlett definitely had a theatrical release. I know I saw it in theaters. Also something to mention was when it was announced on DVD there are more features in the original announcement then went up happening on the disc so we definitely need those on the next release

I've recently been making a list of films I want to collect on physical media, and it's surprising to me how many just aren't available on Blu-ray. And I'm not talking obscure films either - some examples are "All of Me" with Steve Martin, Don't Bluth's "Titan A.E.", the 2003 "Cheaper By the Dozen" also with Steve Martin, and heck even "The Village" by M. Night Shayamalan (which you may have mentioned already, can't remember). And it's not like HD transfers don't already exist for many of these films - all the ones I listed above are already available in HD on streaming. You'd think it would be a simple matter of taking that existing transfer and just sticking it on a disc, but I guess there are always studio executives and legal roadblocks to get past first. _Le sigh_
That’s 1 of the reason I started this series of videos, I started upgraded my DVDs to bluray & when checking prices I realized a lot that I own don’t have Blu-ray’s, & yea not obscure title either. Normal movies.
Movie suck on DVD that need bluray releases are Bicentennial Man with Robin Williams, Wisdom with Emilio Estevez, Hero Dustin Hoffman and My Favorite Martian Christopher Lloyd.
I was beginning to think I was the only one who had seen ‘Charlie Bartlett’ until I read all the comments. It’s nice not to be alone after all. It’s criminal that film never got at least a BluRay or even 4K. The same is true of another early Anton Yelchin film, ‘Hearts in Atlantis’ opposite Anthony Hopkins. Buying the Cow’ is a fun comedy that also needs a BluRay, at the very least. The list of titles that I want upgraded to at least BluRay is probably a fairly long list, but the ones I am really waiting for are the ones that never even got a North American DVD release including ‘Six Weeks’ with Mary Tyler and Dudley Moore, ‘Light of Day’ with Michael J. Fox, Joan Jett, Gena Rowlands and Michael McKean; and ‘Cal’ with Helen Mirren. All are 1980s flicks. Two labels to keep an eye on are Via Vision/Imprint and Umbrella Entertainment out of Australia. Both have released worldwide BluRay releases. They’re always region free. You can order directly from them or through such sellers as Diabolick.
Charlie Bartlett is a great movie and I believe it was released to theaters. For obscure movies, The Beach starring Leonardo Dicaprio has never gotten a physical media release beyond just being on dvd.
Noises Off from 1992 is another good comedy movie that hasn't gotten any release beyond a bare bones dvd. If you haven't seen it try to find it to watch. It's got an all star cast: Chris Reeve, John Ritter, Michel Caine, Carol Burnett just to name some.

I haven’t seen Summer Camp Nightmare in years but watched it a lot as a kid and. I just ordered the DVD and it arrives today. I also ordered Campfire Tales with Jon Livingston from South Korea bc it was too expensive here. Those are 2 that never got Blu-Rays

Yea it's so weird Stakeout 1 doesn't have a bluray but Stakeout 2 does. I think I saw Shopgirl once way back when it 1st release but don't remember it, need to revisit that 1

I got a few for ya that aren’t on blu-ray, robot and frank, the quiet, reckless Kelly. I recently found out another movie I watched when I was a kid is stuck on vhs, the trouble with spies starring Donald Sutherland. It wasn’t great but it was fun for 12 year old me to watch lol.

There’s also a UK Blu-ray but I don’t know if it’s region locked. The Quiet I own & will definitely had it to part 3. With Jeffrey Jones being cancelled I don't think Mom And Dad Save The World is getting a Blu-Ray or 4K release soon. I agree this movie is so damn good.
Mom and dad save the world was released in theaters. Hbo does or at least did do sort of like amazon with some movies like the suspira remake they may have financed it or had distribution rights. I remember it being in theaters, because at that time I helped my dad audit movie theaters and I remember watching it on the big screen. That was a great job. Didn't pay to well but over a 20 year period I saw over a thousand movies for free on the big screen.

Got a pirate HD file, and it looks pretty bad, like an upscaled DVD, so if the digital copies that are being sold are like that, they're not worth buying - better watch the DVD then...
