  • I bought this 3-D printer with my own money in an attempt to try my hand at 3D printing. I purchased it at the link below during their Halloween sale which brought the price to $620.00 I also used the 3% discount code they offer on their website bringing the total to $600.00. even. A steal for any fully enclosed printer with a heater chamber included. so far I've had success with the printer, but as you all know I wait to do reviews until I've had months to test products. I am in no way affiliated with QIDI TECH.

thanks Ive been shopping for over month trying to decide on a new fast ready to run printer to replace My sovol sv01 . Bambu p1s was my first pick until I discovered the qidi and the the k1, I was sold on the x max 3 until I started to see bad reviews on them, most complaints were a joke but the concerning ones I saw had to do with setup and bed adhesion. I think I may be back on the qidi train. I love the Bambu but the size of the bed throws me off, my current bed is 300x255 and I find that on the small side. I hope you will post more videos in the near future any content on this printer is useful content.

I appreciate your feedback. I plan to do some reviews and helpful tips on this printer in the future! I am by no means an expert, but I will share my experiences.

If you really need/want such a large print area then the X-MAX3 is probably what you want. From the reviews Ive seen, while leveling (on both the Plus3 and the MAX3 is 'primitive', it does work if you do a careful, thorough job.

Nice review video, thanks for sharing. Many of the minor benchy issues are from the sliced model file provided by Qidi. For example everyone has the seam defect along the center line of the bow. It would/will be interesting to see how printing that same file with the same filament and settings looks when the printer is placed on a sturdy support. Also, did you do the input shaping calibrations? I've seen that step in many QIDI X-Plus3 and X-MAX3 reviews, it's pretty memorable and certainly worth doing. I imagine it would need to be repeated if you change the stability of the printer support structure (ie, move it to a solid table).

I have not, I'm unaware of how to do so. Do you have any resources you could share to assist?

Did a solid surface make the prints any better? Mine sits on a moving table as well, and I wonder if I should get a Table that‘s better suited for it. But I‘d definitely like to know for sure if it has a significant impact on the Quality before spending that money…

I haven't switched it over yet, but I turned down the speed some to compensate for any potential movement and have already noticed a difference. I will be uploading a review in a few months for this specific printer once I have several hundred hours of prints.

I wouldn't have accepted the filament package. Disgraceful state that arrived in. Thanks for video though.

I agree, but because none of the spools or even plastic was broken, I was willing to accept it. Further use of all filements has proven that no harm has been done to them!
