Simultaneously, construction of the new building is progressing steadily, setting the stage for Barcelona's anticipated return to their revamped Spotify Camp Nou home by mid-December.
Although the comprehensive renovation is slated for completion no earlier than 2025, optimism surrounds the prospect of accommodating 60% of the stadium's capacity by the year's end. However, the return of football to the Spotify Camp Nou won't entail every match being played there.
Barcelona is bound by regulatory restrictions when it comes to hosting Champions League matches at their revered stadium until the end of the 2024-25 league phase, expected to conclude in January of the following year.
