I have yet to play the game myself...but my roommate was playing and sobbing her nose off -- T..T I should try it sometime as well
To the moon has quite a bit of awesome music, my other favourite is Once Upon a Memory :P thanks to Kan and Laura for such beautiful music! And I hope I didn't use too many wrong chords in my cover.../covers my face/

The fact that this is played just that slight bit slower than the original makes it perfect as an instrumental. You do it masterfully, this will have to turn into a daily ritual of mine.
Promised someone very special that I'd one day sing this song... And now I might just do so as a tribute to her..

I haven't played this game, just watched some videos about it. I loved the songs that were playing in the background and searched them up. I ended up finding this cover, and for some reason, it's so touching! This is so beautifull and you should not stop playing! I would do allmost anything to learn this, even tho I don't know how to play the piano. It brings back so many happy memories, but they also makes me sad, in a good way. I just want you to know Olivevie that you are great!

Very beautiful! I found this through your Supershigi forum post. If you're still interested, I think that mystery chord is a d diminished triad or 1/2dim 7 (D F Ab or D F Ab C). Either way, it resolves to C, so your G Major substitute works just fine. This would be really fun to play together with recorder and piano.
