Will be very interesting to see the new pricing. It was an incredible car in the current guise. The current models were getting expensive in relation to the Balleno and Fronx. If the Swift holds its current price it will continue to do well. If its more, I see people migrating to the other nameplates.
According to recent trends, the most efficient engine displacement is said to be 500cc per cylinder. Previous K12 engines were behind the trends. This is one of the reasons why the Z12E engine was made into a 3-cylinder engine.
It's about time. The current Swift has been a runaway success for Suzuki and this one should do really well. The CVT is already a better transmission option than the AMT, and if Its tuning is just right, it could make a better case for itself over the current 4-Speed Auto across the rest of the Suzuki SA line up. Also, this thing is nice, and the 60/40 Rear Split Seat with a proper rear 3rd seat belt already puts most of its competitors to shame. This thing is set up to succeed; now they just need to continue pricing it agrressively.
@@jpmegane exactly! Better car. Better efficiency. Better equipped. Great safety systems. Improved powertrains. And almost guaranteed to be priced well. Winner!
I have been driving three cylinder cars for about four years now I drove Renault Nissan be and Toyota 3 cylinders. One thing I can tell you is that there is nothing interesting about 3 cylinders they shake the entire car when idling they are underpowered in low revs they don’t sound good at high revs and they have to work twice as a hard as four cylinders to do the same job. I am not a fan of three cylinder engines and I would have loved to see Suzuki mantain their 1.2 four cylinder in these new swift. Finally the CVT is a horrible gearbox for me but it’s better than the four speed found in Suzuki cars so it’s a win on that side.
AMA -UGLY. Interior is good, exterior - whilst the quality and finish is good - it's one of those shapes which will curve the sales charts downwards midway in it's life cycle..and it will most likely be more expensive too, with an engine that delivers slightly less power. The reason the sales will dip is because it will lose value quicker, and the shape is polarizing so it wont be as popular come time to re-sell. Even the Indian Market had the 1.0 Boosterjet (turbo) 82kw engine from the previous shape. Whichever car manufacturer tried this strategy in Mzansi before - and many have tried - they all failed. Think Corsa, Fiesta, Yaris... They should have refreshed the old shape with a new interior, updated tech, with Cruise Control added LEDs and DRLs on front of car, and upgraded with the 82kw 1.0 Boosterjet engine. Add Some extra sound deadening to quieten the cabin ... Now that would have been SALES success, continued. I'll be watching the Sales Charts..lol
@@GregDennisReviews Its more bug looking than the previous model...or maybe I'm just upset that if, and thats a heavy if, they make the sport model, its gonna be one ugly looking swift sport.
Another winner from suzuki, the current model still the best on the enty level segment. I hope this new one will be priced well to stay on top
As long as it's priced right, i think this will definitely be a hit especially with the improved safety features 💪🏼
This will be my first car in 2027, especially the royal blue one. I love it💙😇
Good choice 👍🏼
This one is going to top the hatch back segment.
My first car!🎉

Yeah there’s a fine line between Swift and Baleno… so pricing is important here. But I have no doubt they’ll do the right thing 👍🏼
@@GregDennisReviews they can't price it exactly the same as the Baleno, it wouldn't make sense. I believe they will price it right.
Price?
Price ? I hope its not too expensive
No pricing yet… but hopefully soon
My new car!
🙌 Please tag me in pics when you get it 📸
Any auto is better than an AMT. Glad they went with CVT at least. It really isn't that bad.
100% agree 👍🏼
I agree. CVT's works well in small engine cars. The Honda Fit is a prime example.
WOW🎉🎉 It looks amazing 🔥🔥I just wonder🤔🤔 if it has a price increase
I think pricing will be close. Or around R220k
@@GregDennisReviews you think? I hope so... Then I will upgrade my current Swift for this one.
I’ll be there
Love the fact they added cruise control to the car and not just the sport getting it but i am not convinced about the 3 cylinder 😅

Love it!🔥I don't know about the one guy down here saying it's ugly 😆but that's just his opinion anyway.
Thanks Greg 👍👏
It should be super successful! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
It's definitely not ugly, I think it's a decent upgrade, looks more classy.

It just keeps ticking all the right boxes ✅
And with 6 airbags? That is amazing. What other car in this class offers 6 airbags?

Love the new look
The rear lights doesn't do it. That Gap by the headlights and bonnet also doesn't do it for me. I miss the smiling face of the old swift.
Hopefully this new design will grow on you?

Hoping that it will not be a 4 Speed automatic CVT😭😭😭🙊🌚
Luckily CVT does not have ‘traditional gears’, so no 4-speed 👍🏼
Oh great!👌🏽
It looks odd, something is not make sure. Were they trying to make it boxy or curvy, it's ugly.
Lmao Suzuki is giving CVT in Swift but here in India we still get AMT even through both the cars are Manufactered in India
