I used to study across the night to Hopes and Fears in Varsity. Got Under the Iron Sea & Perfect Symmetry albums. Most music i used to listen to seems to have aged but Keane's is still as beautiful and relevant as if it was the first listen. I know they went on to achieve fame and success but Keane still feels like its me own private pleasurable secret. And Atlantic has always affected me so, beautiful song.
Keane are a hugely underrated band. Tom's voice is pure perfection and pitch perfect spot on the album version here singing live. Such a tight group, not many can claim that. Beautifully beautifully atmospheric song, one of my favourites of theirs by a country mile ❤️. It gives me goose bumps every single time I hear it. The album was a masterpiece no question. I hope they are all doing well
