Morning fellas, I've been hunting mornings since opening day. Since we hunt in the northeastern part of the state around the lakes, we've found that the deer are moving between the 4-6 am time frame, then bedding down during the later part of the morning then move to feeding plots in the early after noon. Its so dry between the squirrels and ground feeders the leaves make it really difficult for tracking, but we are seeing alot of movement. keep up the great work guys, good luck this season.

Hunting mornings where i live and hunt in Indiana and Illinois in early october is hard cause you cant get to a stand without blowing all the deer out. Which causes a october lull cause you educate the deer.

No such thing as the lul. Daylight movement increases the entire month of October. In my opinion October is better than November for killing a buck.

I agree. I think the decrease in daylight is faster than the increased movement and it appears that a lull is happening. The Woods are full of human smell to that wasn't there before so they adapt according.
