We meet up with the crew from @wlfenduro4922 for a day of fun at Lake Arrowhead Brewery for some riding and whatever else the day brings

Ya, he was a champion for pushing through that one. It’s a good time physically and mentally. Just go with a good crew and make sure it’s not blazing hot if you try it

No clue who that kid was, but he was awesome. He didn’t mean to take the hard loop and accidentally ended up on it. I hope he had a great time and I’m excited to see him on a lighter bike some day
@@EverySingleSunday I got my WR250R down to 271lbs ready to ride. Big 50T sprocket and it does some gnarly stuff pretty easy.
Was that an XR I saw there too? Looked like a blast

I’m pretty sure that at 8:44 the left where the Gas Gas tipped over and Victor almost did is where in 94, that part of the trail was about 18” wide, I tipped over too. It almost required a pivot turn back then.
As I struggled to get my DR 250 up, Malcolm and Harden on KTMs laughed as they passed by.
Even 4 years ago it was much narrower. I’m sure that back in 94 it had to be just epic and hard. 3 years ago or so the forest service made it an easier trail and blew up lots of rock and plowed all the hard stuff so that they could get rescue guys back in this area. Luckily…. It’s getting harder again

Nice Video Travis. GoPro doesn't really show how steep and techy some of that is.
That is true. I can make it feel steeper but it makes the camera much more narrow and you don’t get as much bars
I have been playing with different camera zoom angles and I like the super wide that I normally run

I’d say I’d take a KTM 500 EXC if I could only have one. It does most everything well

I’ve been on a motorcycle since I was four years old and have raced in motocross Supercross Enduro hair scrambles with 250 2 strokes, 250 4 strokes and 450 4 strokes but have never been on a KTM 300 or 500. Now that I’m in my 50s just would like to have a dual bike again just keep thinking back at how much the 450s tire me out now.🤷♂️ thank you for your input. Love your videos.

Are you running Rekluse on those bikes?
I use some rekluse parts on my bikes like their clutch covers and manual plates. But I run a manual clutch on everything I own.
For riding like this I feel an auto clutch is dangerous and does not provide the connection to the bike that is required.
@@EverySingleSunday good point about the connection feel with an auto clutch, I've never ridden with one and have wondered about it, I think a manual clutch is maybe more work idk
Have skills for old school clutch, just a fitness/strength issue.
I'm 63 and rock a plated 06 crf 450x and looking forward to riding when health issue's get better.
Video was right on time watching from hospital bed. Loved the arrowhead area trails last time I was out west.

If your hands are what they used to be than maybe the auto clutch is the way to go. If it keeps you riding, it’s worth it
