My daughter also had her tonsils taken out when she was around the same age as your daughter. We happened to meet someone else from our town whose daughter was having her tonsils out as well. My daughter never took the pain meds, and her daughter couldn't stop taking them,so I guess it's the luck of the draw. Glad to hear you and your daughter are on the mend! Happy and healthy 2018. I'm not one to leave comments. But I felt the need to tell you, I really enjoyed watching and getting ideas for Christmas as far as cooking. I bought the new Southern living from Dillards(ordered) and a extra for Christmas gift. I don't have a big family. It's just my 2 adult kids and they do the family thing with their dad. But I plan on doing a Valentine family. And we do a lot of dinners outside in the summer. From Seattle area.

I was 22 when I got my tonsils out I was wide awake in the doctor's office no hospital needles in the mouth to deaden them and listening to them get cut out while the blood and whatever else over whelmed my throat and I was choking it was the most misserable thing I've went through and then after my throat was on 🔥 and the pain meds made me sicker and they had to change them so that was my experience . Hope your daughter has a way better experience!:-)🎍:-)
