been saying this for years. Once I started putting Apple pods on my work trailers/trucks. I was like it's only a matter of time before someone can do this for hunting. To me, $300-$500 is so worth the investment, especially for someone like me who's color blind. I've passed on going out hunting because I don't have someone to help track. Looking forward to ordering these soon. Nice work.
So what if it passes through
You didnt watch the video. Watch it, the arrow did go all the way through. This device comes out the back of the arrow on a pass through, this is by design.
What is the maximum range from the transponder to the receiver? 1/4, 1/2, 1 mile or more?
According to their website, 400yds. So 40yds less than a quarter mile.
Crossbow bolt capable? Can you change the style of the nock for different types of nock?
Yes and yes
Do they make them for crossbows too?
Appears to be for carbon arrows. Can it be used with aluminum arrows? I read the instruction manual, but it doesn't address this question.
Are aluminum arrows even available still?
@@billy56081 Sure enough, when you bought a couple of dozen bare shafts when they were still available.
Jesus christ why are you using aluminum arrows still? Get out of the stoneage peasant
Well the starter kit is $300. The weight is listed as .02 POUNDS 😮😂. I would LOVE to know what one of these nocks weigh ! As someone who work at high FOC I am pretty sure this product isn’t for me. Cool gadgets though.
110 grains. My FOC is 23% with it on the back of my arrow.
Thank you. That’s great FOC. Luminocks are about 90 grains lighter ,just as a comparison. Obviously a different product with less cost and less technology. Great video , thank you for your work.
@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 that's impressive. What is your insert and broadhead weight?
250 grain broadhead, 175 grain stainless insert. 800 total grain projectile @@austinhall5933

That’s IMPRESSIVE!! That’s African dangerous game arrow weight !!
It’s cool and all but you can’t replace a good tracking dog what you going to do to do if the arrow and nock fall out of the deer how you going to track it then
I dont think you actually watched the video or you would not have made that comment. It works best on a pass through when the arrow in fact falls out the far side. This unit does not have the draw backs that a dog has but if you like using a dog, there is nobody that will mandate you stop doing so or make you use this device. You will not be made to do so, free will and all that.
What is the battery life? For instance you have to let the animal go overnight?
18 hours in mile weather. Shorter life in really cold weather.
I can see how good this would be but is it reusable, does it affect arrow flight, is it easy to tare up with arrow slapping limbs/ trees, how long will it give a signal and keep flashing. papa interested 😊
reusable and rechargeable, yes you need to tune your arrow to this new weight on the back end, it will emit a signal for 18 hours (less in very cold weather, dont shoot through limbs, brush, trees.
Wait, youre running 23%foc and your not passing right through deer? Im running 24% with tuff head and have never had issues with complete pass throughs on whitetails..not trying to be a dick, just wondering
I dont think you watched he video. Try again with the sound on. It was a complete pass through (stated such at the 1:20 minute mark of the video). The arrow keeps going and the device stays in the animal after it slips out the back end. (see the 6:33 min mark)
My million dollar idea gone 🥲
This has limitless room for improvement. My mind is already racing with ideas to improve on the reasons I won't use this one.
Mine too. Just needs Bluetooth capability to connect to smart phone
@@eduffy4937range wouldn’t be far enough the tracker could and overlay on maps or Google earth.
thats in the works alreay ;-)

@@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 attaboy!
What will they think of next 😮🎉
Good idea but what if the arrow goes all the way thru
You didnt watch the video. Watch it, the arrow did go all the way through. This device comes out the back of the arrow on a pass through, this is by design.
@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 your right I didn't, I apologize. That's awesome then. Thank you
So what happens if the deer falls transmitter side down?
Im finding that the signal strength is weakened by about 30%
Nice . !
Where can one purchase this device?
kirsch hunting
Everything out of stock…. How long before items are available?
Are they reusable?
Yes rechargable
Let's collaborate! Nice innovation, I can help.
Shut up and take my money!
My arrows or bolts blow right through them
so did mine in this video. I dont think you even watched the video or you would understand this is designed to work when you get a pass through. Consider actually watching the video to gain an understanding.
@@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 nope. Didn’t. When you said the nock had a tracker I was uhhhh
U just have to make sure u dont get a pass through 😂
you clearly did not watch the video. I got a complete pass through, this is designed for complete pass throughs. The unit comes out the back of the arrow on a pass through and barbs into the host animal. You may need to watch again.
