I purchased a non navigation update for a 2016 Toyota online and at first it worked fine. After 12 months the navigation began to restart 2-3 times when the vehicle was started. That progressively got worse until eventually the system said it couldn't read the memory card. Removing/replacing the card numerous times didn't fix the issue, but I did have the old genuine Toyota card which still worked fine after installation. Just beware, some aftermarket memory cards are poorly made knockoffs and they eventually fail.
