This was great! I have struggled with almost work I’ve read by Beckett. “All language is an excess of language!” Now I’m reflecting on how to turn that into a mathematics joke. Is the language of mathematics used to quantify the excess of verbal languages also an excess? Those colors look like my closet! Hope you’re having a nice weekend. Best, Jack
Great video, man! Very good to see someone talking about books (especially this one, and that's how I found your channel) with that energy. Cheers from Brazil, and a suggestion from my country that I've seen translated to english: the author Raduan Nassar. An amazing and short book by him is A Cup of Rage but all his work (only three books) is great. I think you'd like his way of using language.
Incredible video, so happy to have stumbled across your channel

"now I'm reflecting on how to turn that into a mathematics joke" now I'm going to be thinking about this as well 😆

It is so interesting to think of how many different "Me"s there are in this context. All with varying degrees of validity. 🤯 This trilogy is on my tbr
