The misty dodge is due to Ring of Omens. It makes your dodge cost no stamina but converts 15%~ of your health to grey each time. It's in the cathedral of omens (yaesha) inside the right hand locked door that you need to solve a puzzle to open AND it must be during an active blood moon.
Also note that in order to get the misty dash from the ring that ignores weight you must also use one of a few different yaesha themed amulets such as: Full Moon Circlet, Necklace of Flowing Life, Death's Embrace, Talisman of the Sun, Red Doe Sigil.
Those are all mentioned in that book at the back alcove of the ravager cavern.

Letos armour can dodge roll instead of flop with the ring, so it ignored encumbrance regardless. Youll need the amulet if you want the teleport

Cause I'm not playing dark souls in a game with guns (albeit a souls like) the bosses aren't meant for melee most times (teleport, teleport, aaaah mf surprise I'm behind you, in the ground, air, left, back, right, in your ass)
My point being, if that bloodhound step knock off effect works with s, easy.
I'll do it for fun at that point

Great video Thank You! For those asking about the dodge mist When the Ring of Omens is combined with Yaesha specific amulets, usually ones that share the same symbol, or have symbols that represent of Omens, it transforms your evade into a misty step.
This... Sounds important.
Is there anything else in the game which shares iconography?
Might be the key to opening the corrupted door to get the archon class.
@@themarlboromandalorian videos just released yesterday for opening the glitch door. It unlocks another subclass but to open takes a lot, and I mean a lot of work. Specific classes leveled and specific every piece of armor.

You don't have to talk to the council, you can just grab the dagger first and ignore them or return and fight/help them if you want. Also just need to be the last hit, though if you don't trust yourself or wanna dagger only it,
Slayer's Crest for more back damage, Blood Jewel if you want more bleed proc damage and to double the status affect time, Vampire Blade mutator for more damage to bleeding (if maxed you get lifesteal), Ravager's Mark for even more damage to bleeding targets and a little more when target is 50%hp. I uhhh haven't been trying to see how useful it can be, though now I have a good reason to test it.
+1 for this. I did the same method with no issues. Melted the Prince down to last bar of hp with Nightfall, and then used the dagger (basic attacks) to finish him off for the crown. It was over before his first flame mechanic.

Can confirm its inly the final hit that is needed, BUT MAKE SURE ITS NOT THE CHARGED ATTACK, THE BLEED DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS THIS. Had to do a psa because I had to run this 3 times because i kept using the charged attack which causes bleed.

Wearing the Ring of Omens causes you to dash like that
Edit: You also need to wear Full Moon Circlet or any amulet that combos with the Ring of Omens to let you mist dodge
Can confirm, using the dagger for only the final blow works. That's how I got the crown personally.
I've literally just walked right by 80% of the puzzles in this game.
many of the areas are luck based if they spawn or not, took me 5 tries to get the chambers
really not your fault. The game is not specific enough most of the time. It's a Wiki-heavy game like most of From Software games which is lazy and awful lol
Yeah don’t feel bad, some of these puzzles don’t spawn and aren’t meant to spawn in your campaign world only adventure, so if u get “ chamber of secrets” in ur campaign world u won’t get the secret boss behind the picture, but if u go into adventure then u can find all secret
@@ouki4925 or y'know, maybe use 3 or more braincells. I understand walking past puzzles on accident, but calling a "hidden puzzle" lazy for being hidden kinda defeats the purpose.

Awesome guide as usual! I love how many obscure secrets this game has. Reminds me of when I first played OG Demons Souls way back figuring out about World Tendencies and how to make phantoms appear or find illusory walls. They’ve taken it to the next level here

Hell yeah, my favorite secret quests are the ones I'm already halfway done with without realizing lol happened with Invader, happened with the coffins and thankfully happened with the best class in the game
You don’t have to go to morrow parish to find the gilded chambers. There is a door at the beatific palace, that can be accessed by jumping across book shelves.
It's random. For me that place was Potulants Parlor and Shattered skyway

where exactly is that? ive been nonstop rerolling losomn trying to get the gilded chambers but cant seem to find it. yours seems like a more consistent way of rerolling idk
@@Lykeurgos its in the big open library when you go upstairs one of the fringes have an opening on the barrier/ banister that you can jump from onto a couple of book shelves. itll be relatively easy to find if you know what your looking for. i swear thats like verything in this game though otherwise you just walk right past it lmao. currently on my 2nd play through on apocalypse and theres soo much ive missed previous and even now.

You do have an option to go back to the council and accuse either 3 without giving the blade you'll have to fight all 3 once defeated you'll get a ring from them so killing two birds with one stone if you wanna keep the blade and get a free ring

You can get em down low with anything you want just get the final blow with the dagger.
The greatest crime this game committed was giving us the Red Prince crown instead of the hood.

You don't need to do the whole fight with the sword ... just do the last like 5-10% with it as the Final Blow needs to be by the dagger.

U have to be careful if using status / elemental effects when the princes health is low even if you’re using the dagger at the end

Hey bud, what ring did you use to get that dodge mist effect?
Ring of Omens with the Ravager's Mark Amulet. But you can also pair it with the Death's Embrace Amulet.
Can this work on any other bosses or sub bosses?

I feel like im the only one that has no idea how to even get to this area, i've covered the entire map as far as i can tell and the only way forward for me is the killing the red prince i've never encountered a palace or anything
The tilesets change every time you play through. So you can reroll your campaign or your adventure mode and get different areas for your worlds every time.

I have a question could you do a walkthrough on getting nightshade melee weapons my wife and I have been trying to get them but having a hard time figure out how to destroy the night weavers heart.
Shoot her in the chest while shes summoning enemies until she falls down and then she will be blue/transparent for the rest of the fight. Make sure she is like that during phase 2. You have to do alot of damage to her chest crit spot to break it. It’s easier to do in the first phase.

You only need the final hit to be from the dagger.
How did you get the og Leto armor ?
I did get the Crown just to kill him at the End with the Assassin´s Dagger/ i hit him first so low with prime guns so a can kill him with the Dagger at the End

You can buy the Old skins in the City. Its the guy with the Mask who cant speak
You may want to check on the weapon called Chicago Typewriter as the Leto armor is in the same area that the weapon is picked up in

it was from Whisper but it has the tanky stats like the original. I think you need to beat the game/campaign to get the option of buying it (seems like single player is the most consistent for actually getting credit/rewards for completing the campaign)

You should see if you can open the red door in the labyrinth wearing that red crown.
the glitched door in the labyrinth has been opened - thats how you get the archon archetype. its WHOLE different issue

I dont know for sure, but I think it’s a safe assumption that you can just go beat him with the dagger if you have it.

I just bear this boss with that dagger and all i got was forlorn fragment is that boss supposed to drop crown or do you craft somewhere?
He drops it once you kill him, he gives you a fragment to create a modifier and the crown but you have to kill him with the dagger, you don't have to spend the whole fight with the dagger, you can only give him the last hit and he will give it to you

How did you get archon?
I don't know if i did something wrong, but I got the dagger and went straight to craft it into an item without talking to the council first. I can't speak to the council so IDK what I am supposed to do next.
If you make the dagger into a melee weapon you cannot complete the council chamber quest, but you don't need to do that to get the crown. You just need to find a different location, the gilded chambers, which is where you fight the Red Prince.
So what if you already gave that dagger back to the other 2 high council people? i never knew about this and i really want the crown😢
