No airlines such as Lufthansa, British Airways, Iberia, gives complimentary service in economy in an intra European flight. Everything is buy on board. Seat pitch is not much different in other airlines. So it doesn't matter which airline you choose if you are flying in Europe.
Budget airlines are working like this: you are paying a for a really cheap ticket and getting a small legroom, thin seat and other things are extra. It’s normal, airline doesn’t need to provide you with a water onboard. You are paying a ticket for a cheap price, and getting, what did you pay for. And it isn’t only Ryanair, all budget airlines are working like this. If you want a comfortable flight, pay 500 euros for your flight on BA.
What are you even talking about? You want cheap flight but yet you are complaining about not having free food? For one hour flight? Wow! The entitelment of people today...
Could be nice, but budget airlines are not working like that. They doesn’t must providing you with a water onboard, because you need to pay for it. It’s an airline’s rule.

I said I didn’t expect food on Ryanair… but at least a cup of water or something would be nice
