I wish you lived close, I am still kicking my butt for not buying a Dillion . Even tried to send back to lee for adjustments. Worse purchase I’ve made in a long time. . I learned from this , great video. Thanks
Thanks for your video, you do a very thorough walk thru on how to set up the LM. I'm setting up for 9MM on my LM. Problem is 2 cases drop down from the 4 tube case feeder and lock the case slider from moving forward. I'm using the small case feeder. The height of the case slider is taller than the 9MM case itself. How is only one case suppose to drop and the 2nd one not drop? Hope that's clear.
Having problems setting up my case feeder. It does not reliably push the case completely into the plate. It appears as if the slide does not come down the rod enough, or with enough weight to force the case slider all the way in. Any ideas?
great intructional videos. I have a question on the ram alignment... im having a hard time aligning it. The only way it works almost without a hiccup is if the index rod has drag/resistance on the upstroke again the press body. Am I suppose to feel drag from the index rod as it rides up against the press?
You should not have any binding or any drag on the cycling of the press. If your not seeing the indexing rod scratching the paint on the down ward guide on the press. Loosen the bolt on the bottom of your press. Make very small moves on your carriage to the right. Your carriage is straight out at the 3:00 position that you feed your cases on, start moving that back counter clock wise 0.10 adjustment at time. If your not using the same wax as I use, apply a good coat of clear wax product on the index rod and the gray part. Go back to my video that I show the alignment video. That alignment should almost be a straight line until it reaches the top of the stroke, when reaches the top, it will kick over to the right side at top. Check and make sure you don't have the nut to tight on your shell plate. Sound like you just need to make a slight adjustment on your bottom bolt, move it over 0.02 , 0.06 thousandths to the right. Try this and let me know if this solves your problem. When you find this sweet spot, you will know very quickly.
I went back and studied your video. I loosend the shellplate nut and loosend the bottom nut. I adjusted the carrier so that the index rod rides on the scratched of the rib and its working as it should. Thank you so much! now on to fixing my primer feeding... lol
hold the adjusting!!! What are the specifics we are looking ; is my TUBE not positioned properly you know it turns.... not saying anything about that. I get the approx 1/8 from slide... my dropping 2 cases.
My case feed system was binding due to the grey rod flexing at the top as the slider lowers, so I actually turned it toward the carrier tongue a hair (12 o clock squared up to cocked at 11 o clock) and it eliminated the flexing. Go figure
Mine is the same. Heavy binding when squared up... Slick as a whistle when turned... Mine seemed to want to go that way when the bolt is turned in. Also, I hot glued two layers of industrial zip tie to top of the case pusher. Now the case is pushed evenly from under the tube full of cases above it. No more kicking out at the bottom.
I tried it and I also tried a thread rod in the center. I am working on another product now that ties off the press. I had to order a aluminum form. I keep going until I find a fix.
Harleychromeman, your accomplishments amaze me. I once was a very good mechanical calculator repairman and later a service manager for Remington Office Machines in Toledo Ohio in the seventies. Like I said, you amaze me.
Too be honest I have been sending e-mails to UA-cam trying to get some clarification on the new policy that they updated. I have sent around 125 messages. Several other reloading channels and myself are trying to see what the next steps of moving to new web site. I am going to be talking about this in tomorrow video. Great question, their are so many people upset about what we understand to be the revised new policy. We do have attorney that is pro gun and is also a re-loader, we are going to have him explain the policy. I hope we can work these issues out with UA-cam. Stop by tomorrow and watch my video. Its going to be a sad day if they delete all of our channels. I will give some insight tomorrow.
I watched this series a few years ago but I finally needed help with case feeding and watching this video fixed it. Thank you!
Thanks for the time you put into teaching us how to use a loadmaster. You give a very good presentation Sir! Thank you!
Thank you for putting this together. It has helped me a lot! God Bless!

The guy that shines a blue led through primerless cases is WiederladerTv
Where did you get the roller handle from? Great videos.

Instead of the plastic tube spacer,
how about an extra Nut to lock the center nut in place?

What is your plan with the new changes of you tube?
