Excellent video!!!...I'm trying to practice as much as I can so I had to find a way to lower cost. Brought one of these before reading the reviews. Lots of angry folks out there but also many happy ones with this press. The common theme of the happy ones was knowing the equipment and proper setup. I haven't unboxed it yet because I want to set it up right the 1st time with the necessary tweaking if necessary. I work in a technical field but know absolutely nothing about Reloading Presses other than what they do. Watching your video along with others makes this look simple. Thanks for taking the time to show a reloading rookie like myself some of the inner workings of the machine.
Thanks Bobby, I just had to take mine apart after a year and a half, and went to put it back together and forgot the correct set up for it. This was a nice refresher video for me and its working great now. I've been following you on the Hydroponics videos this year. With fall coming on strong I'm hoping you are getting ready for new reloading videos. I'll watch what ever you put out, Thanks again.
With the loadmaster. How do you tuble? Do you decap then tumble or do you tumble once just before before decapping complete the process? Thanks ahead of time.
Hello I was wondering if you can help me out. My case feeder on the loadmaster seems to be dropping 2 cases at once. I'm reloading 9mm and no matter what I do I just can't seem to solve this problem. I have made all the adjustments as described but no matter what I can not get it to drop just one case. I am at my wits end as when I drop one case at a time it feeds and indexes as it should, however when I stack 3-4 cases in the feeder tube I am at a loss as a double case drop always happens. Your thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your answers.
I'll jump in. I'm new to reloading but I am using the Lee Load Master. If yours is newer, do you have both pieces of the case slider (in his he refers two a tall and short case slider) put together? For normal shorter pistol cases, just use the one making the case slider the shorter option. If your case feeder is as high as the top of the two of them together, it will drop two cases at the activation point. If you do not have it set up with both pieces, I would suspect your case feeder tube system is just set too high above the case slider when it reaches that high point to trigger dropping the case. It should be just high enough above the case slider to drop a single case. The top of the slider will continue to block it dropping another case as it begins to slide forward. Hope this helps. -Scott
good stuff. my only comment. I had to screw it in A LOT more than 4 turns. lol. 9mm. started with 4. then 5 then 6. got kind of pissed. cranked it to 10. lol. works good.
Complete waste of time, Bobby! You should have named the video "Lee LoadMaster - Case Feeder Installation", not "setup", because setting it up is something you do not show in the video 😞
one of the most complete videos I have seen, even gives you problem solving tips, great!!!!!!!!!1
excellent video, you answered all the questions without having to ask them

You explained it well,Thank you.👍
A very good demonstration on set up of these.
Good vid but I would suggest some lighting to make the darker areas better to be observed.
Good presentation.

Hi Julio. I personally tumble my brass before I decap and re-size. This way, the corn cob media doesn’t get lodged in the primer pocket.
I took some time and watched your anatomy & parts video and man did it help me out alot thanks agin!!!!
good vid how is the pontoon going
Thanks Bobby, very informative...now my LoadMaster is all setup and works great.
The video is fantastic! I have a Dillon XL 650 any way to install the Lee case feeder into it?
