Another alternative is to use a clothes steamer, concentrating on each section or you can use a sturdy reusable insulated shopping bag which you will place over the wig on the wig stand. Then you blow the steam from underneath the bag onto the wig for 5 or 10 minutes.

Did you do anything to change your part? You flexi rod with a middle part but theres a side part in the finished look.
