I run that same tire carrier on my krx, it does get in the way at times but I'll deal with it to have an extra tire. I have the krx tailgate box and fit all my tools in that but it's tight. We hang our first aid bag on the passenger harness bar behind the seat so we can get at it for normal stuff like ibuprofin, eyewash and girl stuff. We always take a 20V dewalt chainsaw and normally someone else will have a gas saw as well. We're in Southern Ohio , we often ride Wv and Ky as well. Eastern woodlands is certainly no place to go wheeling with just the shirt on your back and a roll of ass wipes, it's just a matter of time before you need half the shit you load out there.
I’ve often considered the dewalt saw but I haven’t done it yet. That fiskars hand saw I have is really good and really easy to pull. The teeth are bi directional so it cuts on both strokes. My old one only cut on the pull stroke and it sucked. I don’t have harness bars on mine but that is a clever idea for first aid. My harnesses are hooked via the dragonfire harness mounts. I’m tall so it allows me to still have harnesses but move the seat back further with a track extender. Thanks for watching.
I had a problem yesterday with my shift linkage cable. It was mis-adjusted from the factory (only 200 miles). On hard decel and decents she slipped out of high gear into neutral and you go from full engine braking to NOTHING in an instance. That is a little unnerving coming down a super steep hill like we were at the time. Known issue - be sure to check it!
Did you post about this on the KRX Forum? I just saw a video someone posted on how to check it. I’m going to pick up a 22mm wrench this week and see how mine is set. I haven’t had any issues yet at 160 miles.
Good to see people prepared. See some overlap items but good kit. 👍
Thanks. It baffles me when I see people riding with nothing to help them in a bind
Thanks for sharing. Good stuff!
Turn your frog skins so the plastic grate is in the outside. Less likely to puncture the skins. Just swap them side to side. Great video by the way!
I had it that way but the mud was kind of a pain to get off the grate.
@@atcdan133 I hear ya there. I take a tooth brush with soap and water. Mud sucks!
LOL love it!!!
U not F info around...
Great vid man!
Thanks. I wish I had less stuff in there but I hate relying on people. Lol

@@atcdan133 yeah I posted on the forum. Mine was definitely not fully extended. There is a video on the forum on how to adjust. Very common it sounds.
If I am ever broken down on the trail - I know who I want to bump into!
