Such a complete game, this was meant for people who love cars and racing. Even though I didn't understand any English when I was a child, I remember watching all the cars interior and playing lots of races with my dad.
@@jayive34 Forza Motorsport 4 had something similar to this called Autovista for some select cars where they had Jeremy Clarkson do the narrating. In the games after that they had a similar mode where you can explore and interact with all the cars in the game, but I don't think they had the commentary with them.
@@NovaXP Horizon 3 had commentary on the brands if you left the controller alone in the garage for a while I'm pretty sure, Clarkson giving proper details on select cars in Forza Motorsport 4 was and still is the best though. Come to think of it the Forza series peaked on the 360, I don't think any of the newer entries can match Motorsport 2 & 4 and Motorsport 2 still has the best handling, the cornering speed damping on controllers has been so aggressive on every Forza since not to mention tyre grip seems like it's on ice ever since Motorsport 2 as well.
I absolutely LOVED the car showcases they used have. It was really good to learn about the actual cars and the story behind them. NF2 was one of my favorite games as a kid
Al Murdoch voices over some radio stations and has voiced over several other games. You can find him on Cameo in case you want a unique birthday announcement or something :)
We need EA to relase a NFS collection and a test drive collection these classics need to come back and since the PS5 will be PS4 computable they should start working on the collections almost everyone else is doing it and bring back old games from 25 years ago and they need to put in these kinds of slides and talk about the cars they go into such good detail hopefully they listen to us and give us the 2 collections that I talked about next year at E3 or when the PS5 comes out and we need another motor storm the story in the last one was good they should keep that up
EA would have to reacquire the licenses for all the cars in those older games and soundtracks from Rom Di Prisco, who sadly passed away. Not only that, manufacturers like Toyota won't license any of their vehicles outside of Gran Turismo. So unfortunately, it looks like we just have these videos and the old games to enjoy :(
@@diorsawaaj Rom Di Prisco is still alive. You're thinking of Saki Kaskas who passed away. Also Toyota stopped doing that, Forza Horizon 4 got Toyota vehicles in 2019. Forza Horizon 5 which just came out, has Toyota vehicles in it as well.
Unfortunately, I don't think NFS will return to those roots. If the next NFS game returns to those roots, the JDM fans, Blackbox era fans will hate the game, similar to what they did to NFS Rivals.
