I love it! Gonna try making one myself for my wife, but I'm gonna try etching the glass instead of glue and glitter. I want something more permanent and washable.
DeltaGen42 I have been having the exact same idea. Were you able to get the project done? Also, I don’t know where to look to get the etching done, any suggestions?
@@mauricioramozjr8478 You can make a stencil using vinyl contact paper (either draw on the contact paper or experiment with printing on it). Cut out the stencil, and carefully apply it to the glass: the stencil will likely be thin and therefore fragile, so be gentle with it. There is a product you can pick up at any craft store called Armour Etch: brush this over your stencil, wait a short time, then wash it and the stencil off to reveal your design. Best of luck with your project!
I finally found the one I'm gonna make my daughter. The ice glitter formations put this over the top of others that I've seen. Most other people use paint for the ice. But using the glitter really makes it stand out and look more realistic I think. Definitely the best Enchanted rose DIY I've seen. Thanks for sharing :)
I absolutely love this kind of creative project! I'm making this for my daughter who is a big Beauty and the Beast fan for a Christmas gift!! Thank you for all that you do and show us!!
Just something I did with one I made was to take a petal and some fishing line and attached it to a petal and then attached the other end of the fishing line to the underside of the rose so that it has a petal suspended in air to mimic it falling...using the fishing line is difficult to see so it actually looks like the petal falling...
This is BEAUTIFUL! I had a problem with the fact that, in the original cartoon, the rose was pink but the live action changed it to red. Also, I think the rose you used was too open (in the movies, it’s smaller and kind of wilty) but everything else is PERFECT and I love it & you!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Just a little suggestion though, use a dark background when working with clear or glass objects so that any design you do on them will be more visible
Hey thankyou for the Video. I'm starting the Enchanced rose. even thoe I'm a Blacksmith & I'm making the Rose completely from scratch from Steel it really give me some great idea's about the Cloche. even if this video just cost alot in Materials. ;) must be true it certainly needs a Womans top. Thankyou. fantasic Video. 😊 ❤
So far bother once I watch this is my favorite you did a great job I like everything you bought including that pain I think that made it a lot easier to do your beauty and the beast glass jar it's so pretty
+Ana Leon I believe in you! You can do it! The hand glue/glitter sketches only took about 15-20 minutes to do. 👍 once you get in a groove it doesn't take too long. 😄 Thanks for Watching! 🌹
When working with clear and light colors you should use a dark back drop. The white walls make it hard to see details. But it is a beautiful project. Keep up the good work.
I made some of these as centerpieces for my 15th birthday party a few years back and I just found cheap glass and roses in LA and used the bottoms of 99¢ store clocks as the bases 😂
thousand hoes just don’t over think it, make your line or curve, add the smaller etches and glitter it up. I’m sure you’ll do great! Thanks for watching! 🌹
Absolutely love this! My husband and I had a beauty and the Beast Themed wedding in October. Definitely going to make one, where did you find the rose? I can't fine one like it 😊❤
+Arabelle Adams you can find the bell jar and base at Michael's craft store sold separately. Or you can order a set with the jar and base together in the link below the video on amazon. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
My 6 yr old grand daughter is besotted with all things Disney but especially Frozen and B&B... Any good ideas on how to wrap this for Christmas
Bubble wrap and air packs in a box so it can’t move. I’d wrap the whole thing in tissue first to protect the glitter.
