  • Many people are on the frantic search for the formula that will bring a fulfilling life and enjoyable lifestyle. Many times they completely miss the mark. At other times, they come close to discovering the secret. However the foundation they lay is so faulty that all the structure erected on it eventually collapses. They eventually end up where they started - frustration and defeat.
However, God has not left us without a witness. There are certain foundational pillars that we can discover in the lives of men and women in the Bible who lived fulfilling lives and accomplished great
things. Among these, three things stand out:
    • Worship
    • Wisdom
    • Wealth
Check up the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, Nehemiah and these three things stand
    out.
    1) INDISPENSABLE TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS👇
    Ecclesiastes 2:22,23,26; 3:10; 4:6,8; 10:15; Luke 12:13-21; 1 Timothy 6:6-12; Matthew 6:33; 11:28-30; 2 Chronicles 26:5; Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:6,7; 1 John 1:9.
Real living starts after conversion. The life of the sinner is a wearisome life, a chasing after shadows.
The sinner surrounds himself with many external props designed to bring happiness and fulfillment but he only experiences frustration and emptiness (Ecclesiastes 2:22,23,26; 3:10; 4:6,8; 10:15). The spirit
of the sinner is restless and our souls can only find rest in Christ.
The bulk of human frustration today is due to lack of contentment and true contentment can only be found in Christ. A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses (Luke 12:13- 21; 1 Timothy 6:6-12).
Only those who seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness are guaranteed the best that life has to offer (Matthew 6:33; 2 Chronicles 26:5; Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:6,7; 1 John 1:9).
We cannot trust in ourselves like the foolish people (Luke 18:9) or trust in riches (1 Timothy 6:17; Psalm 49:6; 52:7; 62:10; Job 31:23,24; Proverbs 23:5; 27:24). True rest comes from trusting in Christ (Matthew
11:28-30). There is a serenity and assurance that comes from knowing that we belong to Christ, that in Him we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
Repentance, conversion, forgiveness of sins and trust in the Lord Jesus are indispensable in our journey to a fulfilling lifestyle.
    2) INVALUABLE TREASURE IN LIFE’S JOURNEY👇
    Proverbs 4:6-12; 3:13-24; 7:12; Ephesians 5:15-17; James 1:5-8; 3:17,18; Ecclesiastes 2:26; 1 Corinthians 6:5.
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).
The man who possesses wisdom will in time come to possess all things. Wisdom will keep and preserve him (Proverbs 4:6). Wisdom brings promotion and honour (Proverbs 4:8,9; 3:16).
Wisdom brings long life (Proverbs 4:10,13,22; 3:16,18). It will prevent a person from stumbling and falling (Proverbs 4:12; 3:23). Wisdom brings fulfilment (Proverbs 3:17,18,24).
After salvation, wisdom is the second most important thing in life. It cannot be compared to any other thing. Wisdom is an invaluable asset and treasure in life’s journey (Proverbs 3:13-15). Wisdom will be a
defence in life’s fiery battles (Proverbs 7:12). God wants us to walk in wisdom and this wisdom is available from God (Ephesians 5:15-17; James 1:5-8; Ecclesiastes 2:26).
Every believer needs wisdom and discretion in managing his affairs, foresight in avoiding the potholes and the pitfalls along life’s path.
    3) IMPORTANT TOUCHSTONE IN LIFE’S JOURNEY👇
    Ecclesiastes 7:12; 10:19; 5:19; Proverbs 30:8,9; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Luke 8:2,3; 10:25-42; John 4:8; Acts 28:30.
    “For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence ...but money answereth all things” (Ecclesiastes 7:12;
    10:19).
The average working man spends a third of his day working for money. The greater percentage of our
earthly life is spent either getting educational equipped to make money or actually working to make
    money.
Money cannot give salvation but where it is important, money provides an answer for some of life’s
necessities - shelter, quality education, reasonable standard of living, etc.
Research has shown that the bulk of problems in most families is connected with money problems.
This essentially tells us that MONEY MATTERS MATTER! Good ideas go unimplemented because of
lack of resources. Children are not sent to the best available schools because of money. We don’t live
in the best of neighbourhoods because of money. We don’t often live the way we will like to live
    because of money.
Money is far more important than most of us will admit. The major compromises in people’s lives are
always because of money (Proverbs 30:8,9). Both poverty and plenty can create problems. Wisdom is
essential in both want and wealth. However God’s plan for the believer is to operate from the platform
    of sufficiency:
“And God is able to make ALL grace abound toward you; that ye ALWAYS having ALL sufficiency in
ALL things, may abound to EVERY good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8)
