In case anyone hasn’t watched it, the Peirera v Fialho fight was a a banger. Both men looked great, but it really showcased how sharp and creative of a striker Michel is against a very formidable opponent in Fialho. I get hyped whenever I see either of those guys fighting now

It’s easy to be the hammer, but he was really tested in that fight, and came back with authority, after he was getting touched up quite a bit. The crazy thing about Fialho is that he did all of it with boxing. Once this dude starts incorporating kicks, he’s going to be a serious contender.

He has skill. This is a weird take, his style is unique, and part of how he has to fight to feel comfortable involves the weird stuff he does. Fighters must do what they must to feel they’re in their flow, and doing well. If it was as easy as just “getting skill”, every athletic fighter who’s with a great team would be the best in the world.

Cause if he maybe fought more conservatively and with less flash and maybe more substance he'd probably be pretty tough puzzle. Which he has seemed to be able to do.
