You know, I'm starting think reviewers don't even watch these items in anticipation like we do... have yet to see one reviewer transform this guy per DNA's default formation. With DNA, you're suppose to rotate long hauls arms. Have none of you been looking at this item with actual anticipation? DNA's promo pics, their facebook page, TFW2005 boards..... All's show the arms rotated, as intended for at least this set. No insult intended.
I tried that. The instructions show where the parts go but they don't show off how the robots themselves should be transformed. I saw that the arms were hidden in the picture, but they seemed really floppy on mine when I did that and I assumed maybe the photo was of the Japanese version with the extra joints, and the floppy wheels on mine looked bad so I locked them back in place. I assure you it wasn't due to a lack of caring on my part.
hi...how are the arms. Can Devastator hold his gun up with these arms. I know the old sets the hands could not stay up. The old sets always hanged down; especially with the gun.
Interesting. I think that a winning combination would be: X2 - forearms/hands, hip plates DNA - Mixmaster cab, cannons/shoulders, head, Long Haul filler bits (look better than the purple bits in the X2 set)
Hey Peaugh, isn't there a kit that gives you individual guns for the individual bots in their robot modes? For some reason, HASBRO is too lazy and triflin to give us weapons for the individual bots. TAKARA gives guns in their DEVY set. Which kits would you recommend personally to someone wanting to upgrade this set? Thanks.
does your Mixmaster tilt alittle in combine mold. mine does and even though the cab is connected right it's like it's hitting the drum. not allowing it to sit straight.
could you possibly do a video of your lights set up cuz I knows that you have the LED lights with the brackets and zip ties and that looks awesome and I was wondering how to possibly put all of that together
Is there any word on the release date for this? All retailers say late June (which ends this week) so I am hoping it doesn't suffer from another delay.
I don't know why none of the 3rd parties just made a smaller chest shield, that way the shoulders wouldn't have to be so far out... working on modding a chest shield and hopefully I can sand part of these shoulder connectors so they do protrude so far.
+CyberDragon10K They need to actually start looking at the instructions. Peaugh is usually pretty good at getting them straight, but more and more other reviewers, who seem to get the items earlier, are miss transforming left and right.
This set is very nice. This the first Devastator upgrade kit that I want to buy. The Mixmaster add-on looks superior to the other kits.

Honestly, Peaugh, I prefer the cream wall background to the white poster board. The featureless white void tends to make Lighter colors washed out.
Should be getting this from BBTS soon and I'll pick and choose from both sets. The head look fantastic and can't wait for it.

Not mad, it's just you were my last hope of seeing a review the way DNA intended this set to look. The more I see it like this, the less I want it.

Isn't that piece on the back of the new arm part with the missiles suppose to extend to fill in the underside of the arm?

DNA Posted on their facebook that late June is the correct date. They are getting ready to ship right now.
