I remember that type of light from some years ago although of course sadly I know that they are not around now then and would have been replaced by the other sort of lights as others have said too. But thank you though too of course!
Many of the Alpha 1's on that road have now been replaced, firstly by MA50's then by Vectras. I don't know what the current casual replacement is as there's a wholesale move to LED in the area.

Why do they sleeve the columns and not just replace the lantern?
The bracket is spalled and bits of concrete were falling off

According to the latest streetview imagery it was still there last June but I no longer live there so I have no idea if it's been changed since then.

Unfortunately not. I didn't have room for it at that house. I now have a bigger house and have since obtained another Alpha 1.
