I was ready to criticise, but no I like it. It prioritises the bed and the finish is great. Also you picked the right van, I have an 08 Vivaro and after 8 years and 300+ nights it's the best, having owned Transporters. Now get out and use it, see you on the road...nice colour too. My white one is practical but not not pretty.

Cheers mate thanks for the positive feedback, it was a great project and I loved travelling in her . however I no longer have a camper van I’ve changed wheels for water I now explore the canals and waterways in a Narrowboat. Hope you will still follow the channel and join me on my travels.. enjoy your van and keep safe.

@@TheNarrowboatgeordie I went the other way, had a 35ft river cruiser on the Norfolk Broads, shared it with a nice Geodie boy, but got sick of the weather, bought a cheap place in sunny central Portugal. Still have the camper and planning a trip to Vienna, Slovenia and Venice and everything en-route. My sister had a share in a narrow boat for 30 years and loved it, exploring, she is too old now. Bonne chance.

Thank you so much for your kind comments.i will try to put together a vlog explaining details of the van build. Like most people I didn’t have a hard and fixed plan drawn up just made everything to fit the space I had.
Thanks again for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already done so . Phil c.

Hello. thank you very much for your video. I'm trying to fit out my truck like yours. It's not easy, because I'm not a handyman. but fat to the tutorials I progress. I would like to lengthen my bed like yours. I'm blocking because I don't understand how you did it. what slider did you use? what is its maximum length? .. I have the impression that you have added an aluminum or iron bar in L as reinforcement on the slide. .If you have time, I would like more explanations, and additional photos. I would also like to have the plan with the dimensions of your kitchen cabinet because I would like to do the same as you. I am 18 years old and I live in France. (clermonf-ferrand) Hoping for an answer. I thank you in advance ... and congratulations again for your tutorial ...... Maxime

Hi, I was just wondering how much you paid for your single seat? And does it move forward? I assume it’s still all up to regs and is relatively straight forward to fit?

@@bonniecurtis hi I paid approx ££80 for the seat and a further £120 for the base. Yes all legal no problems with mOT etc.yes was fully adjustable
Had to retain the original seatbelt sockets so as stop seatbelt alarm going off.good luck, it did make all the difference.
