In no scenario based in documented fact was Michael Jackson obsessed with Elvis Presley. He never cited him as an influence and even as child according to his brother Jermaine, he felt Presley was a comsumate copier of Black acts like Jackie Wilson. Especially Jackie Wilson. Jackson is well documented for citing his influences and Presley was never mentioned in the conversation. One man had a massive successful career that bestowed upon him the distinction of having the most artistic achievement awards ever irrespective of gender( over 750 plus awards) and is documented as having the most successful career ever as an artist. His influence as an ARTIST is seen in 3 to 4 different generations right up until today. His work as a solo artist sounds just as fresh and relevant as it did when it was first introduced to the public. He won 7 academy awards in one night, more than Presley did in his entire career. He is in the song writers Hall Of Fame and Dance Hall of Fame which puts him in esteemed company with others of those respective genre's who made their mark on the artistic consciousness of their peers and audience. He also had artistic control over his career and had a vision for his work. Of course I'm referring to Michael Jackson. Elvis Presley was a good singer and I have a considerable amount of his work . I like his ballads especially as he matured. He was Charismatic and a good vocalist who put feeling into his interpretations. However he was primarily a cover artist who made his living covering other people's songs. Out of 700 plus recordings he did not write a single song. He Benefitted off of the creative efforts of others and added his own spin vocally to their songs. This meant he did not have the creative spark and intelligence to make something of his own that could add to the music culture in a game changing artistic way. Cover artists generally have limited options and their careers depend in large part on the work of a good song writer who can create something worthy which is not easy. This explains Presleys drop in popularity and significance during the 60s British invasion, Soul explosion and the explosive hard Rock, Heavy metal, disco, folk etc. ....eras in the 70s. He was a las Vegas lounge act by the mid 70s who had been relegated to doing repetitive spins on old hits that his generation appreciated. From an ARTISTIC standpoint he is not mentioned by any rock act etc.....As an influence on their creativity and vision as serious artists. When he is mentioned it is generally out of respect and courtesy. Most credit him for making Rock and Roll mainstream. He was a figure head with a certain look that the segregated conservative 50s tolerated. He deserves credit for opening the door for the black pioneers he revered and tried to emulate. But as far as being an artist who brought along REAL music change and Socio cultural awareness Like The Beatles and Bob Dylan, he simply does not rate in that dynamic. Jackson By contrast opened the doors for black artists on MTV which by his sheer star power took that medium and made it a house hold staple for all acts regardless of ethnicity. He also penned some of the most poignant songs on social issues and the human condition that in some ways brought much needed light to those societal concerns. I like both men and respect them both. Always will. However No 2 men can be as polar opposite in terms of achievements than these two. The only thing they have in common is their respective emotional disorders and mental breakdowns and unwillingness to get help that unfortunately led to their untimely passing.

They're all excellent, to be honest. Pick one at random, it'll be great. Hitler vs Darth Vader is one of my personal faves, as is Ronald McDonald vs Burger King
To answer your question about who they are: Michael Jackson (older) played by series creator Nice Peter. Elvis Presley is played by fellow series creator Epic Lloyd (who has his own rap series called Dis Raps For Hire).
@Jamel_AKA_Jamal You're good with the ERB. Peter and Lloyd don't do copyright claims on reactions. If you're enjoying them, I would say just go through them all. Don’t worry about copyright blocking here man, these guys LOVE when folks do reactions to their content. I’ve seen Peter and Lloyd react to several folks thanking them for reacting. They are amazing talent that have Ben doing these for a decade now (and almost all of them are amazing).
"Nice Peter" was older Michael, and "EpicLLOYD" was Elvis. This was released in 2012 and was from their second season. Peter and Lloyd write most if not all of the material themselves, but they also frequently have guests appear in the videos, such as Snoop Dog as Moses, Jenna Marbles as Eve, Weird Al Yankovic as Sir Isaac Newton, and T-Pain as Stevie Wonder. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Rap_Battles_of_History, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Epic_Rap_Battles_of_History_episodes

I'm so glad you're in my feed, I love your reactions man! Keep these up
Awsome....i didnt know of these epic rap battles of history until seeing this video. Keep being a great human. Keep reacting.
Thank you I needed a good laugh today because watching your reaction was priceless. 🤣🤣
Also, I guarantee you dont need to worry about getting blocked. ERB loves reactors! And pause all you want, ERBs are super pause worthy.
Wow I just got through requesting this on your newest reaction, and here it is a day-old, you already have it. That's great!
You turned me onto these today...I WENT BINGY...The combinations are so amazing and there's kernels of knowledge in every one...Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc was hilarious...the Oppenheimer one was staggering, so amazing; Hitler Vs Darth Vader was sublime...It helps to be well read and well versed in history and then they become hilarious...What an amazing original idea...I can't believe they've been doing these for ten years on here...Not until I saw you reacting to them did I check them out...Thanks for your hard work!
Omg, that was hilarious! I can't stop laughing! 😂🤣
This was hilarious. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was taking a break from true crime, and wow, I could not stop laughing. I really needed this. I have to play this again and send it to my family, well, some of them. 🤣
Hitler vs Vader is pretty classic.
How did I not know about this for 10 years.....Ive been checking out these Epic rap battles all morning
Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood is my favorite so far
Just came across your channel via this vid. Subscribed! Love the sick setup in the room!
Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali - Epic Rap Battles of History
My good sir, this is OLD! Nice Peter and Epic Lloyd have some amazing work that has been out since forever! You HAVE to check out their great stuff, like Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood, Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe, Bonnie and Clyde vs Romeo and Juliet, Thanos vs Oppenheimer, Joker vs Pennywise just to name a few
This is too funny! Love your reaction, as always 😁
I'm so hoping you fall down this rabbit hole and bring us all with you!
Sorry jamal, my elvis won. 😂😂😂💞💞💞
At 5:50 at the end of the video, I didn't think Jamel was going to go to his corner... I thought he was going to do like Elvis & Leave the Building!! Lol. Man, you looked ready to run!!! ROFL :) (Sorry I'm so late to this video, not sure how I missed this one!!) Love ERBs & love your reactions to them all, so keep doing them and music as you please :)
There are so many epic rap battles of History. They've been around for years. You have just jumped in a huge rabbit hole. One of my favorites I don't know why is Burger King versus Ronald McDonald. That was one of my first ones I ever saw and it was hilarious. Welcome to the epic rap battles of History. It'd be really smart to watch the background in the history of how they do these. It is amazing. The more you get into it the more you see there will be some celebrities on they're doing some stuff it is awesome. And no holes barred that's for sure just like the real rap battles
Whenever you get back around to doing Epic Rap Battles, I highly suggest you check out Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs, or even the Hitler/Vader trilogy. I am happy you've found these. Great reaction buddy.
You should check out the mr.t vs mr. Rogers epic rap battle next that one is my favorite so hilarious
ERB loves watching people react to their videos. Sometimes they even comment. I haven't heard of anyone getting a block or strike from their videos being reacted to. Enjoy the rabbit hole. These guys are hilarious!!
I really like the music and movement you use in the intro. It reminds me of the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show
Sometimes ERB is like a masterclass in verbal savagery.
so glad you found these guys
They're all excellent, to be honest. Pick one at random, it'll be great. Hitler vs Darth Vader is one of my personal faves, as is Ronald McDonald vs Burger King
The same two that I was thinking of since everyone knows their history.
This one was one of the most savage ERB's they've made
Damn this video is almost 10 years old and I'm JUST NOW SEEING THIS? HILARIOUS! Thanks for sharing this one!
Needs subtitles, mate lol
Welcome to the ERB family, man. ERB ALWAYS goes there =D
I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR ERB CONTENT!!
To answer your question about who they are: Michael Jackson (older) played by series creator Nice Peter. Elvis Presley is played by fellow series creator Epic Lloyd (who has his own rap series called Dis Raps For Hire).
Awwwwwwww man, I wondered when this day would come. Welcome to the rabbit hole of ERB.
@Jamel_AKA_Jamal You're good with the ERB. Peter and Lloyd don't do copyright claims on reactions. If you're enjoying them, I would say just go through them all. I would love to see your reactions to the whole library and with how much they have, you'll have content for quite some time. My favorite, though, is JRR Tolkien vs George RR Martin.
Michael Jackson the king of pop we miss you Michael💕💕💕💕
I love your reactions to these! Please keep it up!!
@ 5:09... “When you met your own wife when she was 14”... That is a massive BURN 🔥🔥🔥
Finally! You’re gonna love these and we’re gonna love seeing you discover the genius
My face hurts from LMBOROTFLOL LMBOROTFLOL, I was talking to you Jamal… screaming my replies, and you looked at me with a stare and screamed ANSWER ME.!?!?! lol lol lol. Mind you, I know you weren’t truly talking directly to me, but it feels that way when I get so rapt in watching videos. As far as the video, it was my first time seeing one like that. So I hope another subscriber has your answer for you. Take care, see ya soon💞
It would be Awesome if you reacted to more of these!
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE
Had to watch you reaction to this again
Brother Jamal, I think Ray Stevens 'Ballad of the Blue Cyclone' and 'Haircut Song', would be great to see you react too! God bless. And thank you for the fun times and reactions!
Never saw these before. Keep on. Funny.
The last episode of Season 1 has Epic Lloyd vs Nice Peter and its AMAZING! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
Yo!! WOW. Super impressive.. I'm going for MORE.
Please keep doing these! ERB is amazing!
Bro, that was a great video.
Just gonna let it out there, if you didn't pause enough for an ERB, you didn't get the bars and that's bad.....
Cause they don't hold back for these battles and that makes their content great man...
This is one that's honestly too tough for me. Between not only the burns but also the rebuttals, this is one of the few that deserve a rematch.
Whoever writes these things has an amazingly creative mind!
It might be fun to put a poll up with these reactions to see who your viewers think won.
Don’t worry about copyright blocking here man, these guys LOVE when folks do reactions to their content. I’ve seen Peter and Lloyd react to several folks thanking them for reacting. They are amazing talent that have Ben doing these for a decade now (and almost all of them are amazing).
@Minska Catral is 100% on point. Peter and Lloyd will not block your reactions. They LOVE reaction videos.
I know you probably don’t know a lot about these two but I would love to see you react to Shaka Zulu vs Julius Caesar
Do all of them my good sir. And you shouldn't have to worry about them getting blocked. They are very supportive of people reacting to their videos.
Nice peter and epic Lloyd. Been watching them for years, crazy talented
This has got to be one of the funniest ones I've ever seen. Their disses were so cold! Had my mouth open the whole time. LMAO🤣🤣🤣
This is one of ERB's best
This is one is so easy, the King, Elvis.
Television - Marquee Moon
I haven't laughed so hard in awhile 🤣, thank you
If you are gonna do all of them, and I hope you do, save a couple of good ones for the end and do the earlier ones soon otherwise may be left feeling disappointed!
Capt Kirk vs Columbus is good, and so is Dr. Seuss vs. Shakespeare.
SAVAGE Stuff !! Elvis Won 🏆 😎 ⚡TCB
I have never seen any of these..that was crazy..can’t wait to see another.
Oh, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy whatever ERB's you pick, LOL! So sharp and tight and fun. Vicious sometime yes, but always on point. ;o)
Indeed
Loved the reaction!!! 😂
Loved this
great how these all leave you speechless for a moment after, there is No limits when it comes to ERB. Fun rewatching these. There are sooo many. Adam vs Eve is a short but funny one.
Thank you for this. 😅😅😅😅🎶🎶
