John I think it’s more economical to purchase a CVO with all the upgrades and motor than building a stock standard. Apples and oranges. The black on black is bad ass
The Gas-n-Go of a CVO is priceless for the Rider that’s focused on the ride. Less Down time and more memories created on two wheels. It ain’t for everybody. However for those looking to crush miles and get more wind therapy with less interruptions with a Premium feel on day 1…….CVO is the way to go! On my second one and working on that CVO ST as my third!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I still like the standard RG, and make it your own. The cvo is awesome, but when you pay that much, you shouldn't mess with it. More fun to build your own dream machine. I think black jack looks better anyway.
I have the 23 CVO VVT RG . Love the bike . The only thing I don’t love is the color. It’s the Silver . I wanted the ST , as you get more power and a bit better breaking . But you do not get rear speakers ( if your into listing to music ) and you do not get the electric bag locks . I’d trade in my 23 for this bike if I wouldn’t get taken to the bank . I got an unbelievable deal on my CVO . And after the test ride I was sold . The suspension, handling and power just blew me away . If you can steal one , do it .
Great video and review John!! My honest opinion, Black Jack looks better to me. Maybe I'm biased, I don't know, but Black Jack to me looks BETTER!! You have a TON of upgrades on Black Jack and it is customized perfectly. Keep up the great work and always ride safe brother 💯🇺🇸🤘🏻
The cvo’s are very nice rideable as they are just put gas in it and go and that’s great but I like to tinker with it, I’d rather have a regular bike and make it my own I think that there’s a lot of joy changing things around and it’s a lot of fun.
I believe they say stock it’s got 127HP and 145TQ which is a gob. I know my 24 legendary orange CVO is a handful and will pull the front wheel at 2nd and 3rd gears and mine has 115HP and 139TQ stock. I think the price is right on the ST! mine was 6g’s more for the paint (which I wanted bad enough to pay for it)🤦🏻♂️ but All in all I’m extremely happy with mine what it has on it and the price I paid OTD. I bought mine in February of 24 but my dealer made me a great deal! I think you’re gonna love running this around your area 👍🏻👍🏻 Ride on and Ride safe John!
John 10” for sure. Looks great. I put the 10” on my cvo 2023 1/2 Streetglide and love it. Fits perfectly. Can still see over it and not through it. 👍 terry🇨🇦
When you build up or build your own, you’re doing what you want. Not what you’re getting out of the dealership, which mostly is nothing when it comes to HARLEY unfortunately but that’s just my experience with my first HARLEY.😮😊
In today’s economy not many people can afford 46k I’m buying a second bike used with low mile and not a HD they’re over priced and I can get other brands that give you more everything for less or equal money. I love my street glide and will Keep it but I had to put thousands of dollars into it to make it what it should have been out of the dealership. Great review and I enjoy both your pages but until all these dealers start being more realistic in how they treat their customers they will continue to miss their sales goals it’s a shame bikers are very loyal to their machines.
I know my buttons by memory. But illuminated buttons should be a must. Shouldn’t be a crazy thing for all bikes to have them. I wish there was an aftermarket for that.
I have a black one and really like it. If you can test ride one, do it. My local dealer had the factory test ride truck come. After riding the CVO st I wanted one.
I would say the CVO and little by little build it up, does not need much, up to onwers preference, why not. My CVO ST was well over $51,000 OTD...Not $46,000. I also invested in some forged/chopped carbon pieces from Carbon Visionary, best bike I ever owned, no regreats.
You can purchased the illuminated controls from HD and install them on your non-CVO. They are plug and play and I wanna say around $550 for the housings and switches.
I got mine Dyno a week ago in sport mode, not Track or Track A Mode and I was at 125/145. Track A feels way more powerful than sport mode. Massive adrenaline rush.
Hey brother, love your channel always enjoy your content. But I have to point out you said the front Brembo’s are 6 piston calipers. Those brakes are 4 piston calipers. All Brembo performance brakes are 4 piston calipers. I replaced my stock 07-08 R1 6 piston calipers for the up graded Brembo HP brakes that were 4 piston calipers brakes, no comparison with braking the Brembo 4 calipers dominate.
Honestly, when you say the suspension is phenomenal, that’s what Harley should be putting on their bikes The other motorcycle companies probably already come with better suspension with their bikes ??? but I could be wrong food for thought
Nice videos!! I know you mentioned in a previous video that you had configured your Road Glide Special to use the Custom ride mode. Can you share which configuration you used for each category?
I wonder if the lighted switches are distracting at night? I’ve never rode one with em but it might be nice to have. Not long after I bought my 24 RG some lady backed into it late one night. While wobbling the bike home at 20mph I couldn’t find my flasher switch and thought damn that switch should be lighted lol.
IDK 46K IS a lot for 2 wheels I do have a 24 onix white road glide I'm more than happy with performance tho I will do 511 cam just cause I cant leave well enough alone lol// the paint us nice.. I'm definitely doing suspension over winter so thats like 2500 for rear..
Isn’t the price of the CVO/ST $42,999…. Heard some dealers are letting them go for around $38500.00 very interesting if true. Illuminated Switch gear is available to order, well at least for the 2023 versions, most likely also available for the 24’s too.
John in 4 weeks or so: Guys... Blackjack was traded in for a new 2024 Road Glide CVO ST - New Name: Black Panther. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Stay tuned for upgrades. Lets Goooo.
Can’t justify the price. I have a ‘22 RG standard $20k. Dropped the 135 in it 10k (installed). Wilber suspension, don’t have to adjust anything ($2.5k installed). Thrashing riser/bar with top clamp ($2k), then some different HD seats ($1k). Still under the price of a CVO by a good margin. HD F’d up by not putting the 131 in the CVO ST. If you’re going to build a “track bike”, make a track bike.
Nice look. But thats it. The price is a joke. I understand you talk so enthusiastic about it as an embassador. But seriously, hope HD is not going down. And to be fair… the price and what you get for is anything else but desirable. As for Germany I can tell you that the brand has lost a lot of it’s credibility. Have the feeling that HD is ripping off its customers. And here in Germany its very difficult well not even really possible to find a nice and competent HD dealer. Too bad for HD, but luckily there are other - good - options out there. Totally overestimated! Good luck with you channel ☀️
I hate the new bags I hate the radio. Only thing cool about the new bikes is they run cooler. Other than that I wouldn't buy one oh and the front fender sucks too lol
@CYCLEFANATIX can u get some info about it, John? Nobody is putting that out. Maybe just give some info for guys that do have it. A ton of guys are probably wanting that info John not just me and you'd be the man that can sort that!!

After many years of sport bikes, my current ‘22 Softail, this is a bagger I gotta have in 2025.
Thanks John! I'm about 80% decided on this bike and your gona help me the rest of the way.
Hey John! Man that was a great overview of the CVO ST! I can't wait to see the video series on this. Thanks for another one.

Motorcycle prices are getting ridiculous...I can buy a nice car for that much.
I live in a country where people get salary in average 24k USD per year (gross!). That bike costs 49k USD. Any thoughts?
U mean a nice cage!
I paid 29+ for mine OTD. Prices are crazy on everything today.
@@Bkamaclean yeah, but I'd take this over like a new Volkswagen Passat lol

Personally to me, the inverted forks and the brakes would be a huge benefit the rest seems pretty minuscule.

You are welcome 🇺🇸🇦🇲🤘✌️👌
You can adjust the reach on the front brake with a little dial. Nice touch.

HD sells the illuminated switches for the touring bikes. Less than $300, year specific. Plug and play.
@ I didn’t know. But too bad only touring. I have a 24 low rider st.
The 24 CVO Road Glide and the 24 Road Glide standard both weigh 838 lbs. This is the wet, curb weight (full tank) They are the same.
Yo John..Awesome video bro 👌🏼 Looks wise still goes hands down to Black Jack 👌🏼
Thanks!
❤️👍👍 thank you
John I like both bikes but I like yours better I love the chrome

That was great John. Thanks for going through everything. I hope in the near future they do a Low rider st cvo... Because that's what I ride! Lol
At least I already have inverted shocks!
you think for a $30,000 bike we could get illuminated controls?????😮
I would say the CVO and little by little build it up, does not need much, up to onwers preference, why not. My CVO ST was well over $51,000 OTD...Not $46,000. I also invested in some forged/chopped carbon pieces from Carbon Visionary, best bike I ever owned, no regreats.
At MSRP is definitely a good bang for the buck I will say that.
You can purchased the illuminated controls from HD and install them on your non-CVO. They are plug and play and I wanna say around $550 for the housings and switches.
What you get for $46,000, a lifelong dream. I think a cvo will keep its value better then an upgraded standard bike.
I got mine Dyno a week ago in sport mode, not Track or Track A Mode and I was at 125/145. Track A feels way more powerful than sport mode. Massive adrenaline rush.
Hay john. Compare it to your BMW1000RR i rather have the BMW. That is state of the art

Haha congratulations
I was quoted 37k and all i did was ask for a quote no haggling or anything
Harley never comes with anything!!!!😮 I would build up definitely😊
By the standard bike , put on some slip on and ride it, all That money does not need to be spent.
What’s with all these riders saying it has electric problems if you get the stage 3? Has Harley addressed this yet or is it an aftermarket issue?
Haven’t heard of that
Damn! There are too many damn UA-cam commercials. 😂
I would never buy any bike for that much money. That said, it ain't my money, enjoy the ride!

The bike feels lighter only because of “unsprung weight”. Inverted forks and wheel.
No, it’s definitely lighter
50 grand for a bike.. that's some rich ppl things lol
it’s stupid, amount of money
I would never buy a CVO brand new bike. I’d rather buy a standard and do my own personal mods. I have a hell of a bike for cheaper.
I hope u mean 46 with taxes or something cuz it's MSRP is 43 and if anyone is paying over MSRP is nuts
