It's nice that they kept HVAC controls manual. I have the A6 with dual screens and I worry about the day the lower Hvac control screen starts having issues. It happened ONCE while the car was under warranty, and while they did fix it, if you live in coldest or hottest part of country, if the screen goes out, you will not have AC or Heat until dealership can get you in and gives you a loaner.
The heated steering in audi doesnt get as hot as I'd like, but its a toss up. The seats in Audi's get hot really fast, in the Acura's it seems to take much longer. Overall, I've had a diff Audi model with this cockpit, and I love it, it works an works well, no software bugs, and suprisingly both of the Audi cars Ive had since 2017 have been very reliable and a pleasure to drive, and I drive spiritedly. I do agree they should have offered Ventilated seats ATLEAST for the driver.

One should ask themselves if having a 360-degree overhead camera view & interior LED ambient lighting is worth the extra $3,000 is costs for the Premium Plus pkg. A Premium that looks exactly like the one pictured this video (black optics & convenience packages), is $3,000 less. Crazy how Audi did the trims on the Q3 now.
They make the package differences between the premium vs premium plus very confusing. Both are s-line but what’s the difference you get from the “plus?” I thought the premium package comes with interior ambient lighting.
@@IamnotJokic 100%. In '24 you had to get Premium Plus for LED Ambient lighting. Believe me, I shopped the hell out of them & at 1 point I literally had 2 of them sitting next to each other... 1 Premium, 1 Premium Plus. Couldn't stomach thousands more for next to nothing. The difference between the Premium having wired Apple CarPlay vs the Premium Plus' wireless Apple CarPlay is literally only a software setting that's just turned off on the Premium. Meanwhile my kid bought a lower trim Taos & got remote start, heated steering wheel, wireless CarPlay etc etc etc. Nuts.
This replaced the old VW Tiguan, before it was cheapened out and made in America. This car resembles our 2016 fully loaded Tiguan very closely. VW used to have a premium feel in its brand. No longer. And good to the VR6- a great engine.
How tall are you? You mention decent legroom in the back seats, but that is relative to a persons height. My teenagers are 6' and 6'3. The 6'3 doesn't fit into many small SUV's, but still curious. Thanks!

So weird that the "luxury" Audi Q3 doesnt have a heated steering wheel or ventilated seats but the VW Taos does.

VW Taos has a crappy torsion beam in back. My hands will warm up when I turn the heat on.

Those wheels totally change the look of the Q3, IMO, for the better.

The only Audi SUV I'd buy is the Q8 E-tron SUV, but this is a great place to start for someone new to the brand.
