The challenges faced by teams like Ole Miss and Colorado, who relied heavily on the transfer portal, provide a cautionary tale.

What do you think Auburn's biggest challenge is for the rest of the season?
winning two more games
getting the first power 5 win
Not losing the locker room. And not necessarily in terms of players giving up on Hugh Freeze or the future of the program, but it will be difficult to keep them from checking out on this season. The need for a W Sat can’t be overstated.
Avoid injuries without looking any more pitiful than now.
Getting on the same page and staying there. Coaches, players, everyone involved. War Eagle 🦅
I think it’s keeping the commits to Auburn believing in his vision for the future!
The biggest challenge is getting my hopes up. I can't bring myself to think Auburn will win another game this year. I genuinely don't see a road where we get over that hump and win a game.
WE will win this weekend 💪 war eagle
I think Auburn should continue playing the players that have a realistic chance of going to the next level. They also should start playing their underclassmen in all the other positions to prepare them for next season
I listen to Dale Earnhardt Jr’s podcast and he has some of the greatest drivers and crew chiefs ever in racing. And they almost all say the same thing….”Ain’t about what the rule book says, but what it doesn’t say….. that’s how you win!”
I personally think that Coach Freeze needs to run the offense that he has on the field and save his RPO offense for when we have a better quarterback that is able to execute it the way it's supposed to be executed. Maybe wait to fully implement it next season with Walker White or Deuce Knight. I'm not convinced that Hank Brown is the quarterback that we need.
to be fair, Freeze recruited Brown for Liberty. So Brown is Freezes guy. Even at Liberty I dont see him trying to get QBs just for a body in the room. If he had a plan for Brown at Liberty he has a plan for him here. Have we seen it this year? No but there has been sparks of greatness from him.
@@sgh729 I see your point, however, I believe that Walker White or Deuce Knight will be better and more effective in his offense.
Loosing champ Anthony has been huge. Sad he is out for the season. I think it will be detrimental for us going forward this year. JMO!!
I'm wondering what yall have seen to male yall pick Auburn to beat Missouri
Clicks and views. They don’t actually believe what they are saying they just can’t say otherwise or they lose views. No one wants to hear about losing
a little bit of looking into recruiting, courtesy of Rivals: for Vandy
2022 Natl rank #33, conf rank #13, 0-5*, 2-4*, 23-3*
2023 Natl rank #46, conf rank #14, 0-5*, 0-4*, 19-3*
2024 Natl rank #39, conf rank #14, 0-5*, 1-4*, 20-3*
so where is the top ranked recruiting class at Vandy, and yet, they are 4 wins vs 2 losses and the wins include against bama and kentucky.
so how can Vandy do this with such below average recruiting...could it be possible that the coaching is far superior and "less transparent" and teaching behind closed doors rather than throwing people under the bus??? just possible...
But who else will fit AU's environment so we're stuck.
It's the Quarterback they have let's trade QBs for 2 weeks and you'll see it's the QB position
@@justinhumphries4065100%. QB can make good teams look bad and bad teams look good.
@@justinhumphries4065 But we hired the QB whisperer??? and he's had 2 yrs with this young man??
is it possible that head coach is "third in a two man race"? when it comes to evaluation and coaching and training and teaching?? just asking?
My question is why does CHF still think PT gives us best chance to win. Especially after the 4 and 1 play if he would have just ran the play the coach called hunter might still be running. Just don't get it
Goals = 3-9 and don't get beat by ulm or 2-10 and score more than 14 points on sec teams , keep the recruiting class so Hugh can keep his job , well that's about it
I want to go 6-0 and I don't care who's on the field to make that happen. I truly believe this team is capable of reaching that goal. War Eagle!
I’ve been saying this all year. The problem is the offensive scheme and play calling. It would make a massive difference if they had them run designed plays and just gave Payton a check down route to his backs on designed pass plays! I’m telling you. It’s so simple! I honestly can’t keep watching this offense they’re running. It obviously isn’t working, and is so frustrating to watch. I feel bad for the guys, because they’re constantly set up to fail with that offensive scheme.
The problem isn’t Thorne. He’s actually a decent quarterback. It’s the ridiculous offense he’s being forced to run.
Man we talked about this all off season....at some point it has to sink in its all talk no walk
Dude is this all you had to make a show on? War Eagle! Support the Team !
So y’all don’t think J Hunter is gonna go pro?
Who gets drafted?
1) Jarquez Hunter
2) KLS
3) Maybe Dillon Wade late since he is versatile.
Undrafted Free Agents?
1) Rakes
2) McCloud
3) Percy and Izavion based on physical attributes, not production.
In a 40 yard dash, who would finish first and who would finish last? Would anyone break 4.7
Jerrin Thompson
Austin Keyes
Eugene Assante
RIvaldo Fairweather
Luke Deal
Camden Brown
Payton Thorne
Eugene Asante won’t even smell the NFL😂 thought he would take that next step
Should’ve never cut his hair. Completely took all of his thump because he wanted to be “clean cut” cost him millions
@@Ronniepillsapyou people are insane, actually insane

Please get Kyle to interview Perry Thompson to see where his mindset is at, I think he can do it without smoothly.
Now I’m really depressed Zac
The lockeroom is done cause all of you, and I do mean all of you are scared of Thorne's daddy and grandfather. With his shook self.
That was a question that shouldn't have been asked to PT
Ben says AU has to get a Power Five win. Play the guys who have the best chance of beating Missouri. I think that's what Coach is doing.
Nick mariner is in Canada
What a patently untrue thing to say re Bonds. He was pretty much go to receiver most of the season for Alabama last year and of course would have been featured this year. Bonds left b/c he had Texas connections and for huge $. Everyone knows this. Except for Ben apparently. You guys have veered off into manufacturing fantasies about AU at this point but you should probably just stick to AU.
Auburn goals should be sign a top 3 class and make a bowl game and beat Bama all of this is possible
Bad take by Ben Taylor imo, we've played more freshman then anybody in the conference. Not sure what we rank nationally, but I'm sure it's top 10.
I don't think it matters if the young guys play or not personally, yeah get some experience. Maybe a couple snaps just make sure you keep all that you can under 4 games so they can get the redshirt. We're gonna be fine. Maybe get 8 or 9 next year at most then 2026 is our year to either be great or fire freeze. Unless hey wins less then 7 nxt year then fire him
The best roster in the history of the Ole Miss program really isn't saying much. I'm comfortable saying that Ole Miss will never win a national championship. Never.
The future of the Auburn program is fine lmao Auburn is on their worst streak of losing seasons since 1950. Freeze is historically awful.
If you’re gonna crap on freeze, at least acknowledge that he was left a desolate program.
@@Ravaill23 no he wasn’t check the blue chip ratios
Everyone is hell bent on giving Freeze a pass because of the “lack” of talent he inherited without realizing he’s had really 2 recruiting classes and 3 portals to work with…so any lack of talent is entirely HIS at this point. Plus he actually inherited some dogs that dug deep that last half of season with Caddy. He’s a 8-9/year win coach period. He’s not a run the table type coach or championship caliber coach. He lacks the mind set or mentality to do it. I’ve never hid my disdain for that slack jawed moron and not even sure he’d win me over going 15-0 and winning the championship. If he were to win one at Auburn, it would be a LOT of luck involved and be despite his coaching and play calling. Not because of.
Thorne needs to be the bigger man and a team player and just call it quits!!! He has 5 year's of tape and it's all bad... so take your L and let the young guy's play!!
