Let's not forget Jimin was a top student at hip hop and contemporary dancing. J-Hope's got 10 yrs experience of dancing before joining BTS. Suga used to b-boy before he got into an accident. They all dance good.

This. In fact, this was the first performance I had ever seen by them. Fell down the BTS rabbit hole and been a fan ever since.
As a ballet dance I have to agree with the ranking, because it really is accurate. I also want to say that really Black Swan is one of BTS's hardest choreographs, first off all lyrical and contemporary dance is really hard and you need so much control, also ON that choreo is just another level the dance break is just a piece of art and IDOL is all so such a good choreo and is so tiring like you can tell they are giving it their all.

BTS thee hardest dances to me, also BTS song 'Blood, Sweat & Tears choreo is also contemporary to, not just 'Black Swan contemporary choreo, but Fake Love as well is contemporary dance choreo to.
@Rebecca Guillen actually ballet is more technical, the positions have to be clear, when we dance we usually have to tell a story that they have told us (usually fairytales), we use costumes and make up on stage, we must use music that goes with the story and female dancers should always wear point shoes on stage.
Contemporary dance is more free what the music kinda transmits to you is what you reflect in your dancing, yes of course there is a technique but is much more free, you don't need the costumes, music, point shoes or make up. Is more of the sensation you feel and give to the audience.
I actually do both contemporary and classical ballet and for me both kind of compliment each other, also. But corresponding the differences, that is kinda my point of view, maybe for others is a bit different. Hope it helped a little.

jimin's the solo dancer in every shot in black swan (except joon's shadow, that's hobi!!)
Black Swan is truly a different performance. And Jimin started the performance, he did most of the solo dances and the shadow of Suga and Jungkook, while Jhope was the shadow of RM. Jimin had sprouted wings too.

Just for your information, JK is also a really good dancer. After J-hope and Jimin he's the best. He was, from the start, part of the dance line. Also Taehyung has proven to be a great dancer and been part of the dance line since 2018.
Right, dance line they're all technically different but really amazing dancers all together. Jungkook to me tho, when he's in center, he always makes the whole group look sooo good and so nsync. Which is a very rare and very important asset imo. As compared to jhope or jimin you will always notice them individually. Maybe because their moves are so unique. With JK as center you see his great moves and the group. He brings that kind of cohesion the group as great dancers.
I think Tae always was on a same level as Jk in dancing. I never understood why they weren't put him in the dance line.

@@promzyco9729 I have no problem with it at all....JK is definitely the best vocalist in BTS, and the members themselves agree as well. That's why he is the main vocalist. Some people might prefer the tone of one of the other vocalists, but that's just personal preference. But you're right, many are so reluctant and will even argue that point.

BTS’ James Corden Black Swan is definitely my favorite version. That was the debut of Black Swan as well. We were all sooooo excited and it was different and gorgeous and so impressive.
I loved both the Jimmy Fallon one and James Corden one but I agree, the James Corden for me was the best.....the lighting/colors, the way it almost seemed like they were dancing on water....it remains one of my all time favorite performances of theirs

actually Taehyung in particular had months of idol dance training before their debut, and Jungkook did a couple weeks at a bootcamp in LA.
But yes when they debuted, Jin, RM and Suga didn't have any former dancing experience.

Its always such a pleasure to watch BTS dance practice/breaks💜Regarding Jungkook, i think the majority dont realize what a fantastic dancer he is. As a idol-trainer said about Jungkooks dancing "Any dancer can see how much work and effort he put into it to be able to dance like that. Talent is important in a group like BTS, but more so than that, the hard work that goes behind it goes way beyond talent when it comes to Jungkook. His skills would be enough for people to think he is the main dancer of the group."

Finally, a comment about Jungkook's dancing. He only started dancing as a trainee but he's able to very well keep up with Minnie and Hobi as the beginning dance line. I wonder how it would have been if be had a lot of experience before becoming a trainee.

Jimin and hobi in terms of skill, experience, and technique are the "better" dancers of bts, hence their main dancer position, but they're all equally talented, and no one sticks out as bad because they've all trained so intensely to be perfect!
@@JungkookSeven I've been an army since 2016 so no I wouldn't say new. Also yes he's usually centre of dance formations during the chorus, he however isn't a main dancer, and also only auditioned to join bts as a singer. What I'm saying is jimin and hoseok had dance experience prior to bts.

I'm not a fool to not give jimin the credit he deserves and would never not acknowledge how insanely talented the man is. he wasn't the top in busan's art school for nothing. All 4 of the dance line are good at what they do. My point was that whenever bangtan is asked who their best dancer is, they unanimously answer with hoseok with jimin going "J-hope! J-hope! J-hope!" Hobi deserves all the praises he gets

Great Vid! V is my bias east well!!! “On” is the very first song that I’ve heard from BTS. I discovered them last year during the pandemic from my daughters. I was in school obtaining my Masters degree while going through a hard time and their music and positivity got me through that period. I’ve been army ever since. Great video! @@_ness6522 uhm I think maybe you’re not part of the army cuz everyone knows that his the lead dancer. 3j (Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook) then v was added in 2018. I’m not trying to add shade but I still consider the 3j the best dancer in BTS cuz of their intensity, accuracy and their emotion when they’re all dancing. The 3j really stands out when you watch them dance.

As far as I know, JK and Jimin are the main dancers and Hobi is dance leader and V is lead dancer. Main dancer has more role as lead dancer and as JK is mostly center as he has lots of line, he's also a main dancer as well as Jimin. Hope that makes sense.

Jungkook is my favorite dancer. He is truly an eye magnet with his powerful dancing, on point moves, facial expressions, giving his all whether its practice or not, he is an oustanding dancer, without having the years with formal training as J-Hope and Jimin. Dont get me wrong, i think J-Hope and Jimin are fantastic dancers.
A former Idol trainer: "When Jungkook dances, he does not discard one move, and instead dances every part in full, sending power all the way to the tip of his body. When a choreographer makes a dance, they have a vision in their mind that would make dancers perform in a certain way. Jungkook delivers the choreography exactly the way the choreographer envisions it."

In my opinion Jhope doesn't get as much time in the middle of the Choreo as you think you'd be surprised,
Jungkook is actually the official Center of BTS which means he'll most likely always be the center it's either mostly JK or Jimin (Again my opinion don't come whining and complaining cause i ain't got time)

@@aaravos3636 no one deserves or is owed anything in life. But he was able to reach that goal so good for him. Seeing as I don’t know him personal not sure if he’d actually want more center position or dance breaks. If he does he could just ask for more. He is the dance leader and the closest to the choreographer. V, suga and jungkook ask for things all the time. We’ve seen it.
@@danellymani205 i just said he deserved the money since he worked for it i get what you mean and i didn't mean anything bad with that and as far as it goes for the dance breaks he does want it he said in an interview before he wants more center and more focus on him but he doesn't actually do it because he's a team player. Also I'm pretty sure even if he'd ask for it he wouldn't really get it since the company is more of a makne line biased since 90% of armys are makne line biased and there where the majority of the comey comes from

The original dance line in BTS is triple J.....JHope, Jimin and Jungkook....please don't leave Jk out!! He is also in the key center position and many times assumes the positions that require his strength/sharpness/power. JHope and Jimin are main dancers, Jk is the lead dancer and the featured "dance line" has always been these 3. After Tae released his solo Singularity, I've read that BTS' choreographer said Tae is now a part of the dance line, but it hasn't been officially announced or stated anywhere as far as I'm aware. I feel that JK's role in the dance line is sometimes overlooked so I was disappointed that you guys didn't mention it :(
JK is part of the dance line as is V. Dance lead and main dancer J-Hope, main dancer Jimin.
@@beany1944 it was always my understanding that jk is the lead dancer while jm & jhope are main. Not to be confused with jhope's role as dance leader....2 separate things. It's like for the vocal line, where jk is main vocalist and jm is lead vocalist.

For me my favourite dancer is JungKook . The way he moves his body is just so pleasing to watch. His moves are both graceful and strong as well. He shows such great power while doing his moves and that makes me not wanna watch anywhere else while he's dancing ❤

JK is my favorite too. The others are all great dancers esp Jhope and Jimin, but my eyes always look for Jungkook's moves, he has a way of dancing that captures my attention and even the small gestures in the choreo is never wasted on him and its a joy to watch him dance.

Jimin(main dancer) and Jhope(main dancer, dance leader). Jhope is a master hip-hop dancer. Jimin is a very versatile dancer. He’s done hip-hop, popping, street style, contemporary, ballet, korean dance, and martial dance. He did hip-hop, popping longer than he’s done contemporary. Jimin has been crowned the best male dancer in Kpop for 3 yrs. now, well deserved. I personally think Jimin and Jhope are the Best.
But as a dancer myself I would luv to be able to dance like Jimin or be as good as him. It’s hard because he has his own style of dancing. So it’s hard to replicate. He gave me the courage and inspiration to continue dancing instead of giving up.
Yes Jimin is the best male dancer in Kpop. Whenever anyone mentions the best dancers in Kpop especially in Korea they always mention Jimin, Kai, and Taemin. I also think jimin and jhope are both the best dancers in BTS. But when it comes to the best in Kpop. I personally think it’s Jimin. He is just very versatile. Can do all kinds of dancing. He very detailed. He can be sharp and powerful. But also so smooth, gentle, flexible, and fluid. The way he mixes everything he learned while dancing and makes it his own is why it’s hard to replicate. Professionals even say Jimin’s dancing you can’t teach. As a dancer myself as well. When I do any kind of dances I try and study Jimin’s dancing and it’s really insane how he does certain moves bc it’s so hard to replicate.

By the way that hat trick catch in Bulletproof Pt 2 was Jimin's idea. Their choreographer Son Senduk said Jimin came up with that move in an interview

In dance line..tho i love all 4 of their different styles..cuz they are really amazing and bring different charm, their styles..i prefer, love Jimin's way/style more..i am totally captivated when i see him dance..so much emotions, powerful, perfectly sharp yet flowing/flexible moves.. it's just something when he's dancing that i can't take my eyes off him✨

You guys should definitely show them run dance practice and just blow there mind, and there is a dance practice for black swan or you could show them the James Gordon version where j hope gets hit on the head and it shows there professionalism and how he was able to go on and nobody knew that he got kicked in the head like it's beautiful.

i really don't care what anybody says but i really like Suga dance that guys attitude is crazy on stage he has so many emotions and he is really captivating i don't now why he always on the back but even in that spot he is the one who does the most and fast transactions in the choreography i have seen it so many times i really appreciate the effort and the excellent dance moves from him i hope ppl see him these way not just a rapper , a producer , songwriter and as Dancer too plus ON was my fav video that shows his dance skills and the old video dance practice to his attitude is Badass i mean you can be a great dancer but if you don't have attitude and emotion then that's noting for me Yoongi Just Got It
