- In this vlog, Nick Glassett works a little with Trever on the Jump Off expantion website, Isaiah shows off his new 8.5 inch lift kit, and then the boys goof off....a bunch.
Nick here...Whats up everybody! Ok so I set out to make a vlog with a certain lesson or moral attached to it, and I totally missed because we just had a lot going on. Kassie called like 30 times (more than her usually 29) and it was just a fun/wild day. But what ended up coming out of it was pretty entertaining and fun to watch...plus I'm pretty drunk at the end so thats funny in and of itself.
The amount that I'm learning about content creation and story telling by doing these vlogs is wild and this is only the SIXTH ONE. But it does, yet again, prove my thesis of the JUST GO mindset. I could've taken courses on editing and story telling and videography. I could have watched 1000 vlogs. I could have bought a ton of expensive gear. I could have created infinite excuses why I couldn't (and I've generally got more going on that anyone that I know personally, and like 99% of people I know though the Internet).
NOPE, instead I decided to just start recording with a GoPro Hero 8 (the 11 is the newest model as of writing this), my iPhone 13 Pro (the 14 came out last month) and a lapel mic that no longer works.
The first few episodes were tough. The scoring (music) was repetitive and clumsy. I bought a new camera and real mics and tripods etc very quickly because I truly NEEDED them. and now I'm pressing publish daily on a little movie that I am actually proud of, knowing damn well that I have a LOT to learn.
Wether you want to vlog or not, there for sure is SOMETHING that you want to do, and have been putting off by making excuses, so stop it. JUST GO start.

I have like 4 days worth to edit lol. I knew this would happen cause November is so busy BUT I’m hoping to have one out today (Nov 2)
You’ve been pretty transparent about your life and businesses so I hope I’m not overstepping here but are you making a lot of money with your social media presence? I just wonder if the money is the motivation for it or if you just truly enjoy it. Seems you are juggling a lot at once. Either way I love the content and look forward to your posts and videos.
I try to be! Yeah I make money from it all, but not nearly as much as the work that goes in lol. But I don’t do anything for the money for the record. I try to teach, build, mentor, grow, and work. As I do that the money will come as a by-product

All in all in 2023 I probably made just over $20k or so.
