Sir, Risk and Returns are same but with Fund B, I can liquidate partly and move to other potential funds in future but in case of Fund A either I need to sell 100% or keep it 100%, it will be difficult to liquidate in case of dilemma. End of the day, we cannt predicate market so well, hence investing in Fund B helps in better way

    Hi Mohan Sir,
First of i want to Thanks for all your hard work and better financial planning, Its always simple and super. Very simple explanation in layman terms. As you know most us stay in India and working in SW companies, My major saving all these days was only through EPF. Can you please come-up with a video on EPF, VPF and NPS savings. Since many of SW employees dont have much insight knowledge on Financial matters, Even i dont look into my salary slip to cross verify the deductions. We pay more tax and CA/Tax advisors dont explain how we can more on Income tax. Its will be good if you share us a Video on EPF, VPF & NPS.

Thanks for the video. Very Good Explanation. Apart from the points mentioned in the video, one of the main reason to invest in gold ( at least in India) we can take the gold loan for less interest rate. That gives the cushion to the middle class where loan can be easily taken and also get returns on the appreciation. That double benefit can't be done using S&P 500 ( though it returns higher)

Having a doubt on the last part of video where funds of nifty indices are explained
    Scenario 1 :
    Nav : 150
    Invested 1000
    Units bought : 6.6
    After 5 years
    Nav will be 170 , so 6.6*170 = 1122
    Profit : 122
But in case of other fund
    Nav : 10
    Units: 100
Which will rise to 15 in future will give 1500 as return !! Please explain
That concept will suit for dividend funds I guess , but in case of growth funds ?
Will both funds will have same range of nav increase in future if yes then i accept your concept !!!

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  2 роки тому

In scenario 1, you are assuming index is raising 13.3% (20/150). In scenario 2, you are assuming 50% rise in index (5/10). Totally different.
If the index rises 10%, what would be the NAV in scenario 1 and NAV in scenario 2? Do the calculation for that.

I like to ask you that after seeing this video, the last investment you made in gold would be the last of your life ? Never .. those people who are not investing your money in any other investment you can invest in gold because once you have the liquid cash in hand you will be ending up in spending all the liquid cash without saving. Though this is an good eye opener for gold investment always having a certain amount of gold in your hand or as investment is the best 😜

Hi Sir, your videos are very simple but lots of new things to learn.
Could you please help to understand sovereign gold bond. Is it really worthy? Can a new investor starts with it.

Im in a confusion. I need to buy gold jewellery in 3 years. Can I buy gold coins and store safely or can I buy sovereign bonds now and exchange at 3rd year to buy jewellery?. Also I'm thinking that I should give handling charges for digital gold/etf/bonds and when buying the gold we need to give wastage and making charges. So this add up to more charges. Im considering to buy as physical gold coin and store safely at my own risk. Please suggest about the charges .

Kelvi No2: Gold ETF... Everyone is saying this gold etf is one of the better way of investing in gold. Today's 10g 24kgold price in mumbai is ₹48850/- and the UTI gold etf 1unit price is ₹41.10/-(maybe 10mg price) 41.10*100*10= ₹41100/-
Sir, Why is difference between gold price and etf?? 24k gold price + safe storage charge+ govt taxs = Gold etf price. Ipadi iruntha thana etf buying is alternative for physical gold as investment. But etf price is lesser than actual gold price.. ipadi irunthalum gold etf price gold price ku equal aga increase/decrease aguma? Price difference yenu thirinjukanum sir.
    நன்றி வணக்கம் 😊

ETF NAV price has nothing to do with the actual gold price. It depends on the number of units (shares) in that ETF. It is very similar to the tea kadai example I explained in this episode.
