(mutually assured destruction), and now humanity contends globally with Climate Change even as humanity foolishly wars with itself, brother against brother, culture against culture, coalitions of the variously willing vs.near perfectly mirrored coalitions of other various willing. (mutually assured destruction) by super-power nations, I will find it ironic and ignoble if civilization falls due to unwillingness to adapt and remedy environmental concerns. I hate to think of us dying like bacteria in petri dish drowning in our own waste. Surely humans, especially the 1% socio-economic elite, are more humane, intelligent and wise than that! Or, if I am wrong, perhaps there is a 12-Step program suitable for nations working to recover from Petroleum addiction... (yeah, I am only 1/2 kidding.)
