It does seem like in the actual game Cyberpunk 2077 you'd need to use some of that EDC space to carry guns and weapons, but a good backpack and a slim holster would probably handle all of that. And these other options would set you apart as not just a cyberpunk, but a cyberpunk that can do more than just violence
