This sure demonstrates that there are times when a tornado can be very close by and yet almost invisible. Scary!

I love how this was calmly videoed without a lot of hubbub! The visuals do the talking!

I see you guy's Callery Pears white flowers are in full bloom! Here in Nebraska, the Callery Pears are getting really close to opening. For those confused, the Callery Pears is the tree in the video that has white flowers.

Oh yes, they are blooming everywhere here. And the Redbud trees too. In this region we hear the name Bradford Pear for these trees.

Jen Siegel Hey neighbor! I felt it was traveling towards us but at an angle that it would pass by us as it did. Thankfully my gut was correct. But I was ready to head for the closet at any moment.

Debby P. Thanks. I was using the skateboarder and the people on the street as my indicators on when I should take shelter. When I see them getting sucked up then I head for shelter. Actually we could tell the path it was taking so we were okay if it didn't change coarse.

I talked to the man that reported first. He said it dropped down dead on the river and stayed there for miles...the sand and water is why we had a hard time seeing it. I seen the same angle from my house on 40th St.

Years ago, where I grew up, we had an earthquake that generated a tsunami warning. Far be it for people to save themselves by going to higher ground, no , they all went to the beach to have a look. 😅. I guess that's humanity in a nut shell.

If you aren't near the funnel, you aren't in danger. Most people in tornado alley, look to see where it is at, prior to taking cover. It is not easy to predict where the funnel will go, so a wide coverage area is warned. But again, if the funnel isn't near you, just watch it and pray for those who are in it's path. The funnel is the tornado. Without the funnel, there is nothing to fear.
