- This vlog has been very personal to me since I am making this out of my personal experience. It has been a rough time but failures did not stop me! I made this since I know many of you guys have almost given up your dreams and thought you should quit! I say dont stop believing. YOU CAN DO IT Pinoy Nurse, pinoy abroad, nurse abrpad, UK nurse, erick von, fredeluces
I'm a senior citizen and just happened to stumble on your video. Your story will encourage and inspire other IELTS takers .Actually, my advice is not only about exams but all other endeavors, goals, dreams and passions in life.Work hard and never give up. There's a very important factor though in all these things that many take for granted, its " GOD". Make Him the center of your life, always ask for guidance and direction,
praise and thank Him for everything ."Don't lean on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path.This is biblical and quite true. Believe me I'd been there!

I felt the same disappointments sir but in a different way. I passed the 1st take of my IELTS but it took me 3 attempts to pass the CBT. I was also doubting myself and felt down for a few months but after my 2 failing attempts, I reviewed very hard and gave it my all during the 6 month interval protocol from the 2nd and 3rd attempt. And after my 3rd take, I made it! Thank God I never gave up cos going to the UK is also my dream and am currently awaiting my VISA and plane ticket! Hope to see you there soon! It tastes even sweeter because of the trials we faced before we achieved our goals. Great videos sir! Great effort! Subbed for more content 😊

Hi Sir. As i watched your video, I literally cried because every IELTS conqueror, including myself felt and experience almost the same feels and struggles as you. Most especially to those experience failure at this test. So let us not lose hope guys, God is good, merciful, omnipotent and invincible. He will never forsaken us, let us just trust Him and the process. Keep the faith coz UK is waving at us 🇬🇧.

I took IELTS 2x failed the first passed the second..also for a score goal of 7.0...I think IELTS is not just an English proficiency test, it is also a test of general knowedge and memory..😀😀

I took IELTS twice and failed. Its frustrating really. You will always acquire good scores from 3 subtests but fail on the other (either speaking or writing). 1st attempt I failed in speaking which I accepted already right after the exam kasi kinabahan ako at di ako nakapagfocus sa mga dapat sabihin ko. Now, its the writing, I am 0.5 short in my required score. I was more confident sa writing ko ngayon compare nong una pero mas lalong bumaba score ko. Nakakapagod. I will consider remarking, sa tingin ko naman worth it. Kung bagsak pa rin hay ewan ko nalang. The more you want to pursue your goals, the harder it gets. Goodluck po sating lahat.
You got a great story but I hate to break it to you but it was all just you! You made it. You didn't give up on your dream. You invested a fortune (15k x 4 times is no joke). Reality is, the possibilities are endless. You could've taken IELTS the 4th time and would still have failed, You could've forgotten about taking the 4th IELTS exam, You could've given up and just decide to not take that last schedule, etc... When you realize that YOU are responsible for YOUR LIFE and nobody/nothing else, then you will learn to appreciate and treasure life more. Congratulations on getting your dream and keep it up!

I prayed that way after I took the board exam in PH. I didn't dream of being a nurse and I wasn't confident that I'll be a good one, so I asked God to not let me pass if I won't be a good nurse and do the opposite if he thinks I will be a good one. I wasn't going to take another try if I failed, but God made me pass the board exam.
Love the story,that's so inspiring..been through the hardship reviewing just to get to the goal of passing IELTS and make it here in the UK .Prayers sipag to review and will power that's the secret to success!!!

Ouch! But technically I am already qualified for Ireland, however I doubt that there are a lot of vacancies there now so I am going to take again next month. Truthfully, it frustrated me and almost made me cry:( because I alamost hit it:( Sana makuha ko na lahat next month

Thanks for sharing your experience in taking the IELTS. I took my exam last month and ungortunately, I failed to achieve 6.5 in writing, I only got 6 😭 .. I am now reviewing for my 2nd take for the said exam. I hope I will achieve the score that is required in the UK. It is quite disappointing but at the same time challenging. Sobrang inspiring ng story mo kuya! I took my IELTS academic yesterday sa IDP. I opt to take the computer based exam. Naloka ako. Nabura lahat ang mga nireview ko. Confident lang ako sa listening pero the remaining 3, feeling ko nganga ako. 11,300k din yun. Ngayon, maghihintay na lang ako ng 3-5 days para sa result. Sana pumasa. Ayoko na talagang magretake. Nakakalungkot yung feeling na alama mo namang kaya mo pero pagdating sa mismong exam, ano nangyari? Hayyyyyy

Eventhough I'm using English everyday because my husband is from India and the only language we can communicate is English and yet I'm really having cold feet.
Nakakahiya man... Pero nakakiyak... Yung frustrations everytime nag ffail sa IELTS exam. Napa hirap especially kapag ilang years ka na nag wowork. Tapos yung gusto mo lng naman maka abroad para kumita ng mas maayos para sa pamilya mo pero grabe sinusubukan ka tlga....

Thanks for your inspiring story sir. Had the same story with IELTS. I took it 5 times. The first, General for my Canada express entry program. I got my desired scores but sadly my total CSR points wasn't enough. So I decided to target UK. I took UKVI and academic but I struggle with my writing. I always got 6.5 which is not yet allowed at that time. Since I needed to work for our financial needs, I applied to other countries in the middle east and even on Germany tripple win program. Working in Saudi Arabia was actually my least choice but my application there went very smoothly. The moment I have my flight ticket, 6.5 was approved, I was called to have trainings for Germany Triple win as well... I don't know really what was God's plan is at that time. But I couldn't withdraw since I have my flight ticket already. . Fast forward. On the last yr of my contract in KSA, I had a hard time in processing my documents due to pandemic. Another challenge from God. Since I don't like to extend anymore, I took IELTS Acad for the fourth time and waited my result in the Philippines but I failed in speaking this time. I got 6.5 in both speaking and writing. This couldn't be. I got really depressed. I rested and then picked up myself. I decided to take it again and at last I passed! It may take long and difficult but I believed it will be worth it! I greatly trust on God's perfect time. Now waiting for my flight details.. 😇

Such a helpful video, I’m planning to work in the UK but scared that I won’t qualify, esp. because my work exp. are more of administrative and hospitality NOT a nurse. What’s the name of your review center and how much will it cost? What’s the duration of reviews? Did you take your exam from British Council or IDP? Thanks in advanced.
Not a big issue maam as long as you are a licensed ph nurse. Check the blogs of rico tee.
I took ielts twice and i always fail on reading.... For a while i stopped reading novels too like I hated the idea of reading. Now im currently reviewing for Cbt then i will retake for english test

Im new to ur channel Sir and I find it very informative and inspiring. Im still in the middle east thou but working and living in the Uk is one of my goals now. 😊My contract will end here soon but I am still torn between what exam to prepare and take, eithier IELTS /OET? Honestly speaking, English Language is one of my weakness ever since (especially speaking & writing essays) 😅. Any suggestions?
You can either take OET or IELTS
OET is getting more fame nowadays.
So you might want to check it out.
Try to get review materials, listen to youtube tutorials, get a proper review class and practice more.

You just have to be prepared and do a lot of practice. I am also a nurse here in the UK and I make videos to share my experiences working as nurse in the uk. hope it will help.

This may be a bit tricky as examinees have to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to taking CBT/ OSCE
