- Fjäderholmarna is a group of islands barely outside of Stockholm City, and they are often called the closest islands in the Stockholm archipelago. I decided to explore the biggest island and its history dating all the way back to 1381.
Aside from the history of the islands, I also examine where they got their name and everything you can do on the island. The island has had restaurants and cafés since the 1600s and that tradition continues to today. There's also an art village with arts and handicraft, a glassblower, and a blacksmith.
Aside from that there's also a chocolate maker, a brewery, whiskey storage and some marvellous views.

it's both scenic and the birds. nice drone shot. plan is in motion for me to spend two months in Europe next year.. hoping to see as much as i could. i'd say yes to a beer anytime.

Is the water salt of fresh there?
I thought it must be salty but then I saw all the pike heads ( Jeda ) on the wall and those are fresh water fish...?
That's a good question. The water is brackish, so a bit of both. And I guess that means that pike can live in brackish water...I think...

Haha, that day it really felt like I was abroad! Such a hot day, and all the boats and the water. I tend to forget that Stockholm is bloody amazing in summer :)
