El Dorado Frontier Western-Themed Amusement Park with Kids in Long Beach - Train Ride & Carousel

El Dorado Frontier is a small Western-themed amusement park inside of El Doarado Regional Park in Long Beach.
OVERVIEW:
El Dorado Frontier is a small fair-like amusement park. It’s well-decorated like a Western town. There are 3 main attractions and an activity.
The main attraction is a train ride, which goes through a small section of the park and and has Western-themed displays to look at. For the latter part of the ride, it goes out into El Dorado Regional Park, before looping around back into the theme park.
There’s a hand-cranked buggy ride for kids only. 2 kids can go at a time, sitting on the cart and moving it by cranking with their hands.
There’s a carousel ride as well.
There’s a panning activity that requires an additional purchase. You get a pan and a bag of dirt with gems and crystals mixed in. A guide will help you pan for the gems in the running water.
BUY TICKETS:
Tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Admission is $15 per person, which includes unlimited rides on the train, carousel, and buggy. The panning activity is an additional $10 per bag.

There’s also an additional fee to enter El Dorado Park, which is $8 per vehicle.

Summer hours: 11am - 5pm
Winter hours: 10am - 4pm
