Heritage Park in Cerritos with Kids - Playground on Island with waterfall

OVERVIEW:
Heritage Park in Cerritos has a beautiful and immersive playground. The main play area is on an island in the middle of a pond, and it looks and feels like a place out of a fairy tale. There are 2 bridges over to the island. It has play structures and a main playhouse that looks like a centuries old building, and has a slide going down from it. The island included features like model canons, a small boat, and a waterfall that flows from the top down into the pond. It’s all designed and landscaped like a theme park. Also in the park is a regular playground area with 3 separate play structures.
HOURS:
For island play area:
- Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 10 a.m. to dusk
- Tuesday: 2 p.m. to dusk
- Saturday/Sunday: 10 a.m. to dusk
