Great content first of all.. So I have a question. Would you happen to know the height of the actual tank? I do a lot of action figure photography.. And would love to get a tank that is somewhat in scale with 1/12 (6in give or take ) action figures I don't need them to actually fit in the tank just somewhat in scale when taking photos Do you think it would be possible to somewhat make this work I know this is 1/16 scale Just was wondering if it could work And if not what scale would you recommend.. thanks in advance
There used to be 1/12th scale rc tanks but I can't find any for sale anymore. The real tank is 8ft tall, 12ft wide and has a hull length of about 26ft, 32ft to end of cannon when faced forward. A 6" figure would look too far off scale with this 1/16 since it's height is around 7inchs. A 5" figure looks close but still a bit off, a 4.75" looks near spot on. Toucan RC Hobby and Tamiya USA tend to get the larger scales in stock more often including the 1/8 scales. But they come at a very heavy price tag.
I bought the cheapest Abrams and Challenger 2 that I could and then have been buying the upgrade parts to put into them. Way more expensive. Found out that the 6.0 remotes don't work with the 7.0 boards.
@@darkwolf0516 seems like i might be going the same route... i was sure i found the V7.0 Pro but i'm hungover AF... didn't realize the price doesn't make sense, i even missed the clear as day plastic tracks in the pictures... i guess ill sleep on it, ill probably keep it and add the metal tracks/wheels myself (from MotionRC), itll put me at 306$US for the most recent version/Pro equivalent, unless you tell me about something i'm forgetting.
@@darkwolf0516 Thx yeah I know, their kit seems nicer & more complete for sure but 230$ US with shipping? mine(according to pics) already has the metal suspension arms... MotionRc track kit comes without them @ 115$ US to my door. ill figure it out after i see it.(as well as after i get more info on what motionrc's kit offers exactly, not a fan of their website so far)
@@VULVOLINE009 Banggood, AliExpress, and Ebay (surprisingly the most risky site) are the three other sites I've found mods on. At least the ones that I found that deliver to the U.S directly.

@@VULVOLINE009 Look into Toucan RC Hobby as well. Will take longer to get parts, but they also offer the metal wheels as well.
