@@rollingthunder794I have heard that once the side skirts have been removed there is a large gap that need to be filled. Can you just remove the lower part of the side skirt and keep the upper part to avoid fixing the hole?
Well... it's difficult to explain in words... but if you remove the skirt, there may be some areas where there is a slight gap. I removed the gap by pressing it with a heated cutter knife on the lower body of the section where the gap occurred.

If you make a cut on the part to be cut and flip it up and down, it will come off.
